  4. i shaved 75 lbs by getting rid of the damn 280 bumpers we don't need to stinkin bumpers!!!! {maybe we should start the bumperless squad} sparky, nice car!
  5. the two guys were just random people that we found to be nice enough to jump into the shots. about got busted doin the burn outs. so needles to say, the z won't be going down there anytime soon. there might be some more pics up later in the week. who knows! im diggin the additional pics people are posting up. keep em commin!
  6. my crappy stock gauge reads zero, how ever, my elec aftermarket gauge reads 11 at idle
  7. yepo, used to daily drive it when my pathfinder was down. now it just sits till nice days, or when it has gas. i have driven it in the rain, slow, ice like it sits. only problem was it crushed the exhaust, so i had it redone, and the frame rails scrape sometimes, but really doesn't hit as much stuff as you would think. just have ot be careful. and nope, thats not coil overs 260 suspension on a 280z. imgoing to get some 280 insulators and put in the rear to raise it backup a tad bit
  8. before i get flamed, i didn't see a photo section, i don't feel like uploading all my pics so hence it goes into misc tech! more to come. this is what happens when it's 60 degrees out side in janurary, with a camera, and two bored people.
  9. 89-91 240sx electric speedo sensor
  10. that would have to be strapped to the roof of the z, or from the dash, take the passenger seat oout, and do it that way. thats a little extreme, with nitrous here, being about 3.50 a lb, that would expensive!@!!!
  11. when cold 65-80 psi when warm, 36-39 psi at 3k rpms idle when warm 11 psi lookin to raise the psi a tad bit, nothing extreme
  12. help a cracka out here looking to raise the oil pressure a bit, nothing drastic. looking for around 45-50 psi at 3k rpms. any help? i have the big happy turbo pump. and plan on adding a cooler shortly where the hell do i get the shims?
  13. bigger cam, more compression, and wither severely modded su's efi, or triples. hell spray it, it'll go 12's
  14. you should move from mustangs to nsx's they are more fun to whoop on, especially the comptech s/c cars
  15. thinking of going with the hall effect and seeing where it gets me. since it's free. im not going to lose anything by trying it. may so some experimenting with it, and see what i can use and whati can't to convert the cable to electronic and get it to read right. since i can't seem to find anyone who has done this, which is really wierd in general. yep, im runnin a 5spd zx tranny with the cable on it, but im going to be runnin an electronic speedo, so that kills the idea of a mechanical speedo deal. BRAIN STORM!!!! what about taking the cable off the back of the speedo itself {stocker} and cutting it down, then taking a sw, or autometer piece {since they arethe same thing anyways} and attaching it to the back of the cable tha was just cut, and using that to go into the hall effect speedo dealy for the spedometer? call me crazy, but i can't see why this wouldn't work, instead of going down to the tranny itself, and since i really can't get under my car, this would make life easier.
  16. zerolift SUCKS MAJOR AZZ!!!!!! it has taken them over a month and a half to get me a simple 4g63 with a turbo. i will NEVER do business with tme or, send anyone to them
