Not to jack your thread as I too am interested in peoples opinions and answers to the question, but what about AEM brand offerings and again it's use on a daily basis after initial tuning?

In case you don't come across any xxr's, I have some very respectable 280zx six spokers with near new Bridgstone Potenza RE900's with the sidewall nipples still intact. These are far from perfect and have some minor curbing and what not but are definately very decent and come with lugs and center caps. I have some uhaul wardrobe boxes from previous car parts shipped to me. If interested shoot me a pm...

Stony, I am both happy and stoked for you getting to this point with progress and just a little envious in a good way. This just makes me want to work all the more harder at coming up with the funding for the next step. Congrats and keep the updates coming as they certainly help with motivation...

Bad Dog Z Full Length Frame Rails
Nelsonian replied to rayaapp2's topic in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z
Ray, Well documented and described. I went this route myself with the bad dog rails/sub connectors and new floors from Zedd findings. Man what a difference just climbing into the car. It feels so strong and rigid and barely gives under my weight. Thanks for posting your results... -
I have my stock seatbelts from my 73' that I will no longer be using. They appear to be in pretty good shape for their age. I bought the Retro belts from MSA, so I won't be needing these anymore. How about $30 plus shipping.

Just watched that video as you mentioned, and the ending gong looks very much like a 240z hupcap...
-
Itzgoten, Any chance you could make a video clip of the exhaust sound? Curious as to how the vibrant system sounds....

Hey Stony, Thanks for the update, and yeah that nasty green thing in the pic is a pool, or at the time a concrete pond brimming with lots of algae. Do you have a brand name for the panel glue you used. I have been researching some 3m two part adhesive, and am always open for suggestions, opinions, etc... Unfortunately for me the next step of my build (blast, primer, seam seal, undercoat, apply subtle z panels, paint), is a very costly one requiring some serious savings. I'll enjoy your progress and use it as motivation.

I would like to get $25 + shipping which could easily fit into a flat rate box. Shoot me a pm for more info....

Sorry for the over sized pics, not sure how to remove them now that I put them up.

I have a first gen Mitsu Eclipse bov that is uncrushed, with the hard pipe and mounting base. These are some pretty stout little stock bov's right from the factory.
-
While my car was in the shop having other major surgery, I decided to have the engine bay, front rails and shock towers stitched for rigidity. The shock towers were stitched from the inside of the wheel housing side.

Guess I'm on board bound for hell as well, as I have no sympathy or empathy for an idiot like that. Is the world really missing such a smart guy like that who has expired plates, endangers others while thinking he can outrun a helicopter( only Nicholas Cage in Elanor,Hah) then point a gun at cops. Justice served. Too bad it wasn't a carload of dipshi_s toting guns, to help thin the herd, that is so abundant in Socal.

I have a megasquirt that I won't be using, it's a v2.2....

I have a 3" pipe that is connected to an Apexi muffler that has a large split down the seam. I bought it awile ago from a member here or from another car forum,(long time ago, can't remember which)who had it on his 240z. It is not a true mandrel bent setup though as the bends neck down slightly, and it is aluminized steel instead of stainless. Don't know if that would be of any interest to you or not, just throwing it out there. As time has creeped on wth my build, I have decided to eventually have a stainless, mandrel bent piping made.
