Went to talk to the artist today, and he gave me some ideas, and I think I have it set-not too sure on what colors though. Its a Z inside a tribal-sun with lightning bolts around it. As I typed that, I came up with something else, what if I were to use nuts and bolts?

All good points, I think I'm going to see the tattoo artist tommorrow, now that I'm home, I just wanted to bring something to show, like an idea of what I want it to look like. I have a month before I'm getting it done, so that should give me some time to work out whats gonna happen with the artist.

You should get your boss to allow you to design parts for these old cars. The buissness site shows you guys do some pretty outrageous work to build up european supercars. Why not a datsun?

I want something similar to that, just with a background. A tattoo of a letter is one thing, but its about the letter itself, like what it stands for.

He was asking which is better, draw through or blow through. I have no idea, but with all the fuel injection woes I'm looking at doing an oldschool turbo carb idea. But I'm not sure, I've looked into every possible scenerio for mine, so i'm gonna do something that will blow everyone away.

I do remember seeing the picture of the just finished tattoo corzette. I really just want the Z logo, with a design in the background-such as flames or something else. My first car was a 280zx, so the Z will always have a sentimental value to me. Its actually my 18th bday present-I've been planning all sorts of tats for the longest time, but this is the first thought that would really mean anything to me in the next 30yrs.

yah, untill hoke pointed it out, I didn't relize one was a supercharger and the other was a turbo. Idk about all that, but there was a supercharged V-8 rwd hatchback civic on ebay not too long ago. It was posted here too.

I thought about going with just a traditional Z logo like what auxillary posted. But I want something with a bit of detail. Something that will blow people away though, but not to distract people from the Z itself. Alot of people have told me not to do it, and that i'll regret it and such. But please do not tell me these things, for I have made up my mind. It would be one thing if it was a random car I wanted or owned, but a Z was my first car and its always gonna mean something to me with a Z. Its also gonna be a spot thats not very prone to age or muscle stretching or sagging(its gonna be my upper forearm.) Use your photoshop skills guys, all ideas will be takin into consideration.

From normal to synthetic is fine, but its not reccomended you change from synthetic to normal. I too agree that the thickness of the oil has nuthing to do with the loudness of the engine. Is there an exhaust leak mayb?

Wait, i got 150psi across, and I just tested it with the engine cold, with all spark plugs out. If I let it warm up and opened the trottle up-would the psi be even higher?

I got back to getting the Z to work again. I notice that if I stab the gas really quick, the AFM coughs and then starts to allow air in-so the car tries to stall, then revvs up. But I noticed if I jam a screwdriver in it so that it stays open atleast a little bit at all times, the throttle responce is amazing. What is causing this, is the tension in the AFM off?

that was quite a bit helpful, thanks Cozy Z Cole, but I didn't not find V6 injectors, just the V8 ones. And not even the same year v8's either, so I don't know if I should just assume there the same, which they probly aren't, or what?

What can you guys tell me about the V6 3100 injectors? Flow rates and impedence and such? I just scored 6 working ones for 10 dollars, so even if they won't work in stock form, I plan to modify the intake to get them to work.

Been there, done that. Did you know that if you leave a line dripping-not much, just drippin-it will drain a good 2-3 gallons out of your tank over night? I know this now.

all focus' are FWD, they just made a special one, with a cobra motor that happened to be RWD. I believe it was one of a kind-or less then one hundred or sumthin.

thats what i would have thought too, but alot of it was about advancing the timing X degrees over stock, or retarding it. Stock-Timing was very broad in the search.
