  1. I like the movies personally, but I do not take them seriously. I watch them as a movie, and only that. I don't take it as a bible for what to do to a car.
  2. You posted in two diffrent locations, and not one of them was right. It should be in the Wanted section of the buy-sell forums.
  3. Mine has a sunroof, I like it, it doesn't leak too bad, but there is a bit of rot around it where someone didnt' seal it right. So I'm gonna be fixing that soon and it should be good as new. It doesn't look bad at all, it doesn't change the contours that bad.
  4. I saw that episode, it was on a 69? firebird. It looked REALLY nice when it was finished too.
  5. I never thought about that before, Dual Webers on a KA would look pretty cool though now that you mention it.
  6. As far as I know this is untrue statewide. I once heard that that in NoVA there is a smog check, but nobody has really backed that up. Here in Richmond there is no smog checks. Never did it in the 81', which wasn't antique at the time. Not in my truck, which was a 91'. Not in my parents 2004 minivan. And I haven't heard anything about having to smog my 78' 280z.
  7. Can you also copy this in the download section? I downloaded it, although mines a 78. But I know that I will eventually lose the file somehow and will probly need to download it again and the download section seems like the perfect place to look for such a thing.
  8. thats what i used, did a bit of help, but not much.
  9. Not a concrete driveway, asphault(forgot to specify). But if you meant to say asphalt would that mean that if its there for life, if I just reseal it-will it cover it up, or will it eventually rise to the surface?
  10. Well, oil, gas, coolant and whatever else has caked itself onto my driveway, and were gonna get it resealed, but first the oil and such has to come up or it will rise to the surface within a week or two. So I need suggestions on what I should use to clean the driveway itself. Right now where using this stuff called ZAP. It seems like a generic brand type thing, its doing OK, but not getting up the big stuff we really need. I have heard good things about PURPLE POWER, but haven't used it yet, i may end up picking that up today. What do you guys use?
  11. I fired up my N42/N42 turbo setup for the first time yesterday, and it sounds AWESOME, but I had to cut if off cut my oil line was loose for some reason, it will work, but do everything right the first time, it only took me about 3-4 weeks because I had read every little piece of info on the N/a turbo setups on the site. Look over everything. If you need I can help you to an extent, but nienberg.11 told me everything I know, he helped out ALOT.
  12. I was gonna say use a dremel to cut a slit in it similar to a flat-head screwdriver. Then use a big flathead to back it out.
  13. it was shooting flames and he saw this while he was beating it. Usually when you see flames aren't you behind the person? I find it hard to believe that he saw flames while he was beating him badly.
  14. The 7MGTE is a 3.0, the 1JZGTTE was a 2.5 liter, but it wasn't offered in the US. Someone correct me if needed, but generally an inline engine tends to make boost faster and hold it better.
  15. there was a thread on the board about this manifold for sale on ebay.
  16. "Yah the boost is turned down to 35......." and the greatest is-"Oh, maybe its my vtec rep"
  17. I searched and didn't find this on here, thought you guys would enjoy it.
  18. I remember seeing the video of a penny being blanced on the engine, and it was on this site, but I searched and cannot find it. Mat73GNZ can you repost the video?
  19. This used to happen on my old 280zx, then I changed the thermostat and the problem was gone. But back to the topic. Is this bypass you speak of underneath the intake? From how you guys say it, I believe this is it. And with my n/a turbo it seems as though that outlet is hitting the turbo outlet and causing me to not be able to hook up the j-pipe. I was so close, but now I have to take off the manifold again to plug it.
  20. Well monza makes quite a few things for the Z's, and it is on the hood and windshield, mayb this is there car they built to show there stuff.
  21. probly only like 5-10 on this Z so far, not much time layin around, but I hope to have it running/driving next week. It was supposed to be this week
  22. Do it, my experiance was similar, junked my ZX, and within a year I bought an S30. I may end up selling this one, but only for another Z. DO IT!!!
  23. Well, went to a place called Custom Hose to day, and got a stainless steel braided line and the fittings I needed, and they all work right, i just need to tap the Oil Pressure Sensor hole out to 1/8 NPT.
