Well, its final, I just purchased a 78' 280z, It looks to be in quite good shape. A bit of rust thats visable, and the guys said the frame is solid, as are the floor pans. Its a 5-speed and has an aftermarket sun roof, which is the majority of the visible rust. It is BEUTIFUL. Now all I gotta do is ship it from NC. http://www.twowizards.com/280/WebForm1.aspx

He was reffering to not having a Z anymore. As far as I know, some cops will say you cannot lower anything, others don't care. You "cannot" have a modified exhaust, but most don't car as long as you don't rev it at every stoplight. And I think that basicly it, some countys have emissions, but I hear there alot easier then Cali. Most cops are slack here about modifications. I've actually been told its legal to have Nitrous hooked up in the car and even use it on the streets as long as you don't use it to speed-County sherrif told me its legal in virginia. ABSOLUTLY no neon lights though. PS. As far as I remember, if your car came w/o cats, it doesn't need them, even if you swap in a motor that came with cats.

i thought this was gonna be the perfume/cologne thing. People will come upto you saying that there selling cologne and its actually eather, and it will knock you out, they will steal all you've got and run. All this happens in broad daylight.

What year were the eclipses that you owned, because I have read that the early 4G63 motors didn't have it, it wasn't till the second Gen that crank-walk became an issue.

I've searched the threads and none of the pictures work, does anybody have a picture of an S130 without bumpers?

Zcars have been getting quite expensive lately, i've been lookin for a nice one, and haven't found anything south of 2000, but I found a nice 280zx that I may buy for around 1500, there not cheap around here, and even though there expensive, there still rusty, real rusty.

Vettes are just amazing, I've always wanted one since I was about 10. I've gotten the chance to drive a few, like a 66' and a few c4's, and a handful of C5's, but the most badass overall was the 2004 Z06 i drove, it was just perfect. The one thing I noticed about the vettes though while driving is the clutch. Your either on it or off it, there is no inbetween. That was my biggest problem, its not bad, just a problem when you don't know howto drive a vette. There was an incident one time where I first stalled it, then gave it a tiny bit of gas when I disengaged the clutch, and lit the tires up. In the garage we have these metal grates under the floor so you can see down into the pit below, the torque was so great that the grates lifted up and slammed them back down when it spun the tires. AMAZING

I go upto Lake anna every now and then, don't like it too much, never catch anything-the creek around the corner has more fish then that.

hey bastaad, if you can find a cheaper way then 600, I'd be very interested, because I think my next Z may come from California, and I need to get it shipped if I buy it.

I wish, but I don't like planes, and I don't have time. And all the money I have for a car is all the money I have, not much to play around with shipping.

anybody know of any shipping companies that will ship on the east coast that are cheaper then like 700 for 500 miles.

So getting it shipped to a terminal is cheapest? What company should I use?

I have looked all over, and it seems as though I will have to buy an S30 out of state. And was wondering, the shipping for a car is quite expensive, about 700 dollars to get it shipped about 550 miles, does this seem right? Does anybody know of a cheaper method? Ps, I kind of need to know quick, by monday....

I remember watching the episode of Rides were they put these rims on the Enzo, they were afraid to drive it, they drove it out of the lot, and onto a trailer, just to get it to giovanna down the road-they were extremly careful, i guess the owner wasn't.

are these mounts still available? Has the price gone up or down lately, or is it the same. I'm starting to get interested in the RB swap again, and work has been good and now i'm finnally starting to make some money again, and I have a bit saved up-I'm looking for an S30 still, but i may just drop an RB into an S130, because I found a great one. And has there been any changes with the tranny mount, or your still not gonna make anymore for safety reasons.
