  1. welcome to the forum, both of you : Doc Hawk and Alcamo86
  2. walk softly and carry a big boom stick!!!
  3. Brownie mix first, then police. They won't be able to flush a tray of brownies in the toilet when the police come a knocking. Trojan horse...a chocolate flavored one:)
  4. .303 Lee-Enfield seems ok, I just tested mine with several empty shells : although it is in theory a push-feed, but the large extractor let it functions as if it were a control-feed. Of all the common military weapons, the M1 Garand and the Lee-Enfield has the best sights : aperture, but they are harder to put a scope on if you decide to later. 230$? I didn't know Chinese SKS is that expensive in the US. Here in Canada we still allow import of firearms from China, we can get SKS for 150$CDN, thats about 130$US right now...
  5. SKS = cheap, about 150$? Find them just about everywhere. The ammo 7.62X39 is weaker though, IIRC it is only a bit better than 30-30. I'd use a 30-06 Parker-Hale : modernized Mauser action(control feed), adjustable trigger and a quick safety. If you want to use the Mosin Nagant, you want to make sure you know how to operate the safety in a hurry(a bit tricky). A Parker-Hale Mauser action rifle : http://www.waldu.ee/pood/parkerhale.jpg
  6. I have seen a few. They CAN keep up with traffic on the highway, I saw one going as fast as 110kph
  7. The combination of things makes the front end look refined. Was it intentional to have different parts in different color? If not it actually kinda works
  8. That's looks badazz, looks like it's ready to eat up some Ferrari's.
  9. Some doesn't. My rust bucket parts car 280Z has original hood that does not have the vents.
  10. He's a decent guy. He listed a set of L24 rods, but I found them to be L26 rods. Contacted him about the mistake and he cancelled the auction lot immediately and was interested in how to recognize a real set of L24 rods. After I sent him some photos and instructions about how to recognize a L24 rods, he was happy to set me up with Z parts deal in the future...
  11. Same here, copied one in the hard drive. Great stuff, great stuff. I too vote for another sticky/faq

  14. You are going to be upset when I tell you there are businesses that mount a web cam behind a remote controlled rifle turret so their customers can gun down a game while SITTING BEHIND A COMPUTER IN THE COMFORT OF THEIR OWN HOME!!!, or so I've heard. hit the "kill it now" button.....
  15. "No worries it just means you are pleasuring your car correctly..some cars are juicy" LOL
  16. As to type of action, I recommend a bolt-action Mauser type or any bolt-action rifle with controlled feed/claw type extractor : classic Winchester 70, Parker Hale, etc. It's good insurance against double feeding because a Mauser generally won't double feed. If you double feed when the boar is charging at you, you are screwed because once the gun double feeds it can take a long time to clear the malfunction. As to caliber.... I'd use a 30-06 : bigger than a 270Win, very popular, won WWII, endless ammo choices(you can go into any gun store IN THE WORLD and the store would probably have it on the shelf), can be used as a deer caliber, medium recoil, good flat trajectory, good knockdown power, reasonably priced ammo.
  17. link does not work. The "..." gets in the way.
