  1. Does anyone know the brand or part# to this gauge pod? http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/show_image.pl?bg=CCCCFF&image=http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/2/web/2090000-2090999/2090741_19_full.jpg
  2. I wouldn't use anyone else's map, Most of the time it wont even get you close. All you need to do is verify timing (timing lite) and make sure the injectors are off while you are doing this. After you are sure timing is correct, cut the fuel to 0 and slowly work your way up until it fires. This will save you allot of time and frustration. hope this helps
  3. I found some at Frys electronics; but Im unsure of the actual heat rating.
  4. For all who are interested in the meeting http://www.cowtownzclub.com
  5. I have a spare diff if you need it..... Next thurs is the meeting and you dont want to miss that now do you?
  6. Gray RTV all the way... Use 1 half on the differential, leak fixed. Put the other half in the "co-workers" gas tank, no more rides.
  7. Alamo's Dynojet is just fine, in fact many big race companies choose to tune there. It's funny when people go out and have their car run on other less accurate equipment, and they complain when they find out that their car is slower than they thought after using Alamo's Dynojet. Ive seen alot of dyno owners play with their correction values to make their shop seem like its tuning is making more of a impact than the other shop. Alamo's dyno readings are always less than the other guy for a reason, accuracy.
  8. You make pulls in third because its less strain on the engine etc. You make pulls in 4th if you have traction issues.
  9. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=131624 Its supposed to be great weather and Big Phil is brining his camera! Autographs may be available!
  10. I'm running an AFCO right now and it works really good. I bought mine at Smileys Racing. You will have to make custom brackets so that the radiator can float. If you just bolt in a aluminum radiator the normal bending and flexing the car normally sees will break most aluminum radiators.
  11. I'm running one and have never had any issues. There not noisy or ruff to engage, the ceramic disk last a long time and holds 350hp np.
  12. They still make the E6 but for the time and money go with an E11. They are also going to release the Platinum soon which rumored to be out next month.
  13. You need to be in the business of making dash covers! That is fantastic work
  14. 1st rule for starting any engine is make sure "everything" is hooked up properly. What ems are you using? From the looks of your vid, it looks like your waiting for it to burst into flames? If you have fuel issues I would fix that before starting or powering up anything...
  15. I think there should be a 3 strike rule/meter, you could put it under the post-o-meter so everyone would know where they are at. I also think there should be a vote on some banning as well, some of these banning's seem too quick on the draw. Kinda like spanking your kids when your mad. Maybe I'm to patient
  16. Did you climb up a pole to get that shot?
  17. Im running one. Im now looking into if Im using the correct axles.
  18. Im still not sure how the admins came up with this one....
  19. Sad part is you can make allot more power out of a 4cyl Honda motor than you can with an L28. bums me out all the time.....
  20. I think all that dust out there is starting to clog your "Man Senses".
  21. Its not to bad if you take your time. Lay everything out in order and take pictures when necessary. We calculated that it should only cost $220 to rebuild a s130 tranny. But gear damage is something different, you may be better off with a auto yard replacement.
  22. I changed mine, but it still feels wierd...........
  23. Haha, Our z club just had a tech session on how to rebuild trannys....... and Phil was late.
  24. That is crazy man. Sounds so mean! I think that vid just changed the direction of my project. Tnx
