I need some help with figuring this out, here is the calc that I'm trying to use. http://forums.haltech.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1880&p=7950&hilit=injection+firing+angle#p7950 I'm trying to set the "injector firing angle" map up on my ecu and I have no idea how to get the numbers to plug in.

First - Do you have a factory service manual? I would research the wiring diagram and test the power wires coming in and out of the ignition switch when the issue occurs. Second - 70% of the time its the worn out ignition switch. You will have to use a dremel to carve slots in the screws holding it on to get them out. They use screws that the head snaps off from the factory for theft prevention. Third - You may be experiencing multiple issues like the ignition module going bad or the ecu. Sometime Ive seen either overheat and cause this issue and once the car shuts off, they cool off and the car starts and runs fine for a while. Its a start, let us know what you found.

I think he is suggesting that the distributor drive gear is not in its proper position. For a quick test you can remove the distributor locking bolts and advance or retard the timing to see if it will fire. I wouldn't suggest cranking the ignition for long periods of time with out it firing up, fuel build up could result in the ol' ECE External Combustion Event.

60mm TB (or larger) don't really do anything unless you port out the manifold. Not just port match, you need to remove all the material to make it truly a 60mm opening. It will usually require welding to build up the material around the manifold TB flange to do it properly. Or you could just bolt it up because it looks cool.

I would just make sure the pigtails are wired the same as the originals. I don't think under normal circumstances EMI's would ever come into play. However, you could rap everything in foil to make it UFO proof, I hear they really put out a lot of EMI's. JK:burnout:

That looks way better than any spray paint "chrome" Ive seen. I know krylon was selling a water based version of there regular spray paint call H20 http://krylon.com/products/h2o_latex/ I don't know if they make clear though. I would assume any 100% acrylic clear should work , but it might yellow outside and getting it to lay down flat might be a challenge.

I think Big Phil found a adaptor that worked like a spacer that had a waste gate hole.

Do you know what year Tiburon? This sound like a great and cost effective way to rid my S130 of 0 night visibility. I bought the cheap ebay lights as well and the are just as bad as the old sealed beams. Great find!!

You may have to get a serial card and not use a adaptor. Its sometimes cheaper to buy an old laptop from a used electronics supply that has one on it (or borrow one). If the guys at Haltech have recommendation it usally means that 100s of people have call in with the same issue and that fixed it. Let us know how it works out

From the picture it seems like the bottom one raises the turbo location and moves it back 1.5" to 2 " directly in front of the runner. Is this accurate? Or am i seeing things again?

Phil look at mine on Thurs, its better than a Ron Davis rad. and its $170 at Smileys in Kennedale. You just have to make the mounts.

Back in the day there was a video of this s30 "speed shop ????" that was a live action. It was similar to a all night street race vid, the s30 was twin turbo and it was really cool. A friend of mine "had" an original VHS tape of it and now he says its lost. Is there anyone else thats seen this vid?

Its sounds like the clutch to me. High end twin disks make allot of noise when the clutch is disengaged.
