  1. Sunk valves, too thick of lash pad.
  2. The stock numbers look exaclty like what my flow bench says for the same heads. I would of thought he could of got some more flow for the port job though. 230 cfm at .550 lift is achievable with stock size 44 mm intake valves.
  3. Ive run Digital and analog needle style AFR guages. I will never run another needle style again, as it is hard to read, and it is har to tell the difference between 12 and 12.5.
  4. Most strokers are around 225 to the ground on a hotter build. If you go all out, on pump gas you can get as high as 275 rwhp.
  5. There is absolutly nothing close between L's and Merc heads. Only heads that are close are RB and KA heads.
  6. It sounds and looks pretty quick. Should run low 13's????? I am not familer with the electronics of those, but if you did want to boost it, can you add larger injectors and controll timing and fuel through some sort of software, nistune, etc??
  7. THats why I was glad my first gen came with them from the factory, and power mirrors
  8. Glows????? I would atleast add a good sidemount.
  9. I dont know, but I would guess that there are not any drivers. I would just use a EDIS 6 module to fire it.
  10. I also wonder if it is infact only three coils? If so 1,6 need to be fired at the same time for a wasted setup. I guess one of us needs to have one in hand to find out everything about it. But it sure looks alot better than most other setups.
  11. Well the problem is that nissan L's are not equal spark plug spacing, and I am curious if the jeeps are or not either. Becuase of the EX and Intake valve positions.
  12. I was looking on ebay and came across this. Out of a 4.0 jeep. I wonder it the spark plug spacing is close enough? Anyone have any sort of measuremets possibly?
  13. In the warmup wizard, on the stim, or in the car when I set say for example at 40 degrees to be 150% of the fuel, the little bar in MT 029y4 that states warmup percent doesnt change. The duty cycle or Pulse Width does not change either. Is there a setting I am missing or? It is cold and it doesnt wanna run when cold.
  14. Ive got a Barrett and love it.
  15. I wish I had spare time to think up and write dumb crap like this. WOW.
  16. Ms works with any dizzy 75 and up, and some have even done points! So ANY dizzy will work with MS controlling timing.
  17. I bought both of my 1uzfe's for 150.00 a peice, running complete. I can buy MS for 300.00, 500.00 for a GOOD turbo, and some other ods an ends, and for less than 1500.00 have a 600 RWHP setup. Clifton understands that the 7m's have their limits, and thats why he is now adding a couple needed cylinders, ha.
  18. Well I got a Z32 Twin turbo RPS brand 6 puk disk and Heavy Duty pressure plate (thanks clifton!). I setup an aftermarket steel flywheel and centered the pressure plate and re-dowelled and re-drilled the flywheel to accept the 250mm setup. Took the inertia ring out of the flywheel, and got it down to 15 lbs, from its stock 23. Balenced everything about an hour ago, and everything came out really good. It is supposed to hold 660 FT LBS of torqe, so it should be perfect for what I need. I wish I would of just done this about 4 clutches ago. Anyways for those wondering if it can be done, yes it can. You can put a 250mm setup on the stock flywheel. You need an aftermarket flywheel though, that doesnt have the clearence groove in it on the outboard of the disk like the stock ones do though.
  19. I bought out Spankys (Garys, z car side of things anyways) shop. There is no more spankys anymore. Gary is moved to texas, and his brother danny works for the city of mesa. Just to clarify Tony.
  20. Vendors forum??? Is it cheaper than 500.00?
  21. Looks like the took down the horse stall at the farm to use the fence pipe for the cage!
  22. Would be much easier to put a short shifter in your B box.
  23. Did they mention which block they used? I have sonic tested alot of blocks, and have never found one that is a minimum of 7mm in all bores.
