Adding Lightness, one of my favorite automotive terms and soo much fun to do! Dont cut here or your door will lose A LOT of rigidity. How I keep the door lock in place How the window is held in place: one screw, two nylon nuts, two washers, and a wingnut I split some windshield washer line (they ran out of super small vac. lines) to cover up the burs in the door, 10 foot per door. Painted Techno Toy Tuning Rear Lower Control Arm install Fender cut Front geometry, just a hair above parallel; may do the subframe notch in the future though...

Stance has made coilovers for us.

expensivetowne from stance! And for $230 a pair I would hope that they come with camber plates. -
yes it will, do a search. you will have to modify a 4-speed B transmission bell housing as if you were going to use the 240sx 5-speed. Then follow the directions on this page http://home.comcast.net/~zheimsothtn/transmission.htm for the assembly, just replace the use of a 240sx transmission with s12 5-speed. And bolt it right in, on a positive side you can use 240sx internals in a s12 5-speed, and you DONT have to cut your driveshaft.

sorry to bring up a long dead thread, but these finally popped up on ZCC again and thought it might be useful for those that dont want to cut or drill into anything http://www.zccjdm.com/catalog.php/azcarbum/dt43033/pd1827536/IMSA__ROD_END_TIE_RODS_ -
gut the car you will enjoy it immensely. I have had 6ish street cars gutted, and it usually is the first thing I do as it is one of the cheapest modifications that you can do to your car. as far as weight savings, it adds up quite quickly. sound deadening - close to 15 pounds if memory serves me right full interior (vinyl, plastic, door panels, heater core, ducts) - something like 40-50 seat swap saves you a good 20 pounds. rear glass replacement with some lowes/homedepot lexan saves another 20ish. sure some functionality goes, but it sure is awesome.

if you must go dual pips at least make it true duals and forget that y-pipe. I personally just got done with a header mistake from MSA, one of the welds was busted, but all I did was call them up and they were more than willing to swap it out for a new one without a hint of a charge. As far as fit goes, the MSA Y-pipe connected to the header hangs way too low under the car, but with a couple quick cuts on the header I was able to get it fitting quite snugly under the car. and if you dont want surface corrosion get the aluminized, or stainless steel version. If you live in an area where rust is not something to really worry about then get the regular stuff and spray paint some high temp on and call it a day.

I was in the same mindset as you for a good deal time hoov. But look at it like we see cell phones now. do you need a camera on your phone? if you want to take a photo of something use a camera instead. do you need e-mail on your phone? lappy is better internets? lappy is better video? video recorder GPS/maps? use a fold-out games? get a portable, console, or lappy. while the phone doesnt do any of these exceptionally well compared to the products that they replace, it is still a really nice feature to have to lessen the load that you carry around with you. So apply it to the DSLR, sure it will not give you as many features as a traditional video camera, but it is a nice feature to have as a supplement to just taking photographs.

couple random updates on the car front. NOS Motorsports sent me a set of brass shifter bushings free of charge, so they are back on my good graces. Unfortunately I had already bought another set from set from summit-engineering, so now I have an extra set of brass shifter bushings. I installed my strut spacers from NOS and because they are the biggest ones you can buy I ran into a clearance issue with the wheel weights. So I took the wheels to the local tyre shop and had them relocate the balance weights to the center of the wheel; this solved the clearance issue. I am waiting to get my RLCAs in from TTT and will have photos of that "fun" install when the time comes. MSA exchanged the header free of charge (super fantastic), and will have pictures of that once it is in the car. And I am about to order a brake proportioning valve to resolve the weird brake feel, photos when the time comes for the install.

All of the information that you want is already inthis forum you just have to look for it. The min backspacing that you can run with stock suspension is 4.5". I have seen people run anywhere from 13" to 18" diameter wheels, as well as 8" wide under stock fenders. Like I said all the info is there you just have to search for it in every thread.

why shouldn't you? are you having over heating issues? where are you planning on mounting it? if you have an oil-cooler (i.e. from a semi or an Rx7) why not just buy the plate and do it.

locations to buy http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/50877-wheel-sources-links/ more specs http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/34877-wheelstires/ weights http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/62911-wheel-weights/ fitment and what other people are running http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/58528-wheel-show-post-your-pics-of-you-wheels/ the last one is what you really want to look into. look for wheel size, offset, and tyre size; there may be alot of pages, but there is a huge number of options that you can go with.
