  1. Easy, let's keep it civil and non-political as possible (truth be damned). Gracias. Davy
  2. Ah yes, but I don't know of any person on here who would actually run their car with no airdam in front, at the very least. That seems to be standard issue. But, point taken. Davy
  3. Yes, the whale tails are seriously efficient at producing downforce. As I remember the thread (one of 'em anyway) someone of note stated that getting the air to off the car as far back from the Z as possible was advantageous for aerodynamics--that means that a whale tail that protrudes from the back of the car will actually do a lot of good. Davy
  4. Well, not really, but it was a GOOD DEAL nonetheless. And, as Veritech-Z noted above, some Z's are literally only a few hundred dollars. Davy
  5. Whoa, I tried to have htem load from the site they were on, but something bad happened. Whaaat? Hrm. Sorry, but I'll try to address it later. Not good... Davy
  6. Aux, what about that racing place you had do some work on your alignment? I don't think it was Dando's, but I remember they were a little pricey. Maybe Mike D can make a suggestion? Davy
  7. Excellent color choice for a radical Z car! I'm sure it won't attract any attention after it is painted *gasp* Davy
  8. I think that 240Z is one of my favorites so far on HybridZ. Of course it still lacks an LS2... Seriously, nice work on that car--I love it. Davy
  9. Eh, we won't tolerate flaming the rich guy because of his origin or nationality. It's just a warning not to do it. So far, we're good. Davy
  10. Good luck, Jersey! If you have the idea, it'll probably make some good money if your friend thinks so too. Jump on it. I had a great idea (with my buddy at the time) to market colored flame cigarette lighters. Sounds funny? Now 20 years later I find colored flame lighters in stores now. Smoking was more popular in the 1980's and we could have made some cash with good marketing. I think we lost because nobody moved when we had the chance, not because the idea wa half baked. Just my $.02 If your idea is better, you better move on it... Davy
  11. Wow, Terry is that old?!? Many happy returns, Terry, and have the BEST birthday yet. You have your health, your mental focus, a great car, skills, heck--what more can a man ask for? Happy birthday! Davy
  12. An inch?!? I bet you're golden with that much room. I can't imagine even worn out mounts giving that much deflection. The caveat is that your engine is running smoothly on all cylinders. It seems that when an engine is misfiring, the whole engine bucks from side to side. I think you'll be ok (outsider's viewpoint here). Davy
  13. The engine bay should have gotten you something. I like the fact that you have done the work yourself on your conversion and are debugging it yourself. I also do my own work because I have no money left after paying for eveything else! Davy
