  1. Did you cut all the way up to the "horizontal" part in the fender, i guess thats the top of the tub.
  2. Joel are those regular flares or bamf wide ones? how much clearance do you have at full compression at that ride height. I want to get mine as low as possible but i dont want it to ride like crap... 17s make it look like a 4x4.
  3. I mounted my aem boost solenoid on the firewall pretty much in the same spot and its is loud as hell, you might want to rubber isolate it at least.

  5. Well, it has been awhile since i have updated this and I have to admit that I have slacked off on the picture taking and all the baby steps in between all this. Anyway I have finished up the Toyota Camery power window regulators and they work pretty damn good i must say. I ended up having to mount the drivers side motor on the outside of the door shell (between the door shell and the door panel because the window would hit the motor. The passenger side couldnt possible fit any better. There is a slight bulge in my fiberglass door panel on the drivers side but its not really noticable unless your looking for it. Finally when people are motioning to roll down the window i dont have to yell THEY ARENT POWER!!. My stock window regulars left much to be desired and with these camery ones its actually a weight reduction... Win Win. Also installed all new window felt and seals, damn that stuff is expensive... Got my 17x10.5 CCW classics for the rear. I took the car down to John at CCW and we(he really) did all the guess work. I am running Kuhmo Escta XS 295/35/17 tires which grip pretty good if you warm em up a touch. Once i get the car stanced right i will run the track out a touch via the lower conrol arms. I probably could have squeezed a 17x11 in there. Here is is where i am hoping my ride height will be once I install my T3 camber plates. Here is where it is now. Got the intake fabbed up and finished, finally and also mounted the fender mirrors. Installed new door seals, that was a pain... Ordered the AZC big brake kit with oversized rotors and 6 piston calipers and the 5 lug hubs. He said he doesn't recommend using the 13" on the 5 lug aluminum hubs because of the extra weight, so I went with the thicker 12.2" he has two different versions apparently.
  6. No problems here, just a slight bulge about where the oem regulator is but thats not the panels fault. You really wouldnt notice if you werent looking for it.
  7. Like the spal kit? i have one but its a pos. OEM regs are crap. OEM toyota ones work good.

Yea i have your panels but i am running camery power window regulators so on the drivers side the motor wouldn't fit inside the skin without hitting the window, so i had to mount it outside of the door skin so i am running a little bulge with the panel. Maybe you can make them with just the elbow part?

  14. I have a question about the rear flare. I have the Carbon Fiber MSA ones. The fat part goes towards the front of the car? Looks better the opposite way but then again i cant step back and look at it. Gonna be installing today with a friend, maybe then I can tell but hopefully someone will chime in soon enough.
  15. Got the passenger side power window done. Good ol 1993 K5 Camery Vin: 4T1SK122E9PU307800 2.2L. Will post pics of it later.
  16. K5 camery FRONT window regs. Vin 4T1SK12E9PU307800 Year-1993. Need the Front Left and Front right. I got the passenger side done today. That was much easier than the drivers side. The passenger side doesnt have motor clearance issues with the window frame like the drivers side so it can mount like the pics i will post will show. Bare with me and i will take pics and do a small little write up. Its not going to be a good right up because I winged it but i can at least take measurements and give you guys a decent starting point. Again everything about the 240z makes this harder, I think later 260z and 280z will be much easier. Stay tuned.
  17. Does anyone have pics of the 13" drilled and slotted rotors AZC sells?
  18. Currently I am running z32 rear brakes. I would like to upgrade them later but for now i think they are ok.
  19. Hey guys I am looking at AZC front big brake kit. If i upgraded them to 6piston and the cross drilled and slotted 13" rotors will that be to much braking power for a street car? The car only sees the track probably 1 or 2 times a year and weighs about 2550. will have 17x9.5 wheels up front. I don't want something that is gonna be twitchy as all hell.
  20. i have a check valve on my exhaust and it draws vacuum for the valve covers under higher rpm. I am going to put it on a rpm activated switch because if you are sitting idle for a while pressure will build.. You can check it out in my build thread.
  21. I dont have have it wired yet, I'm just jumping it with a battery at the moment, once i get everything sorted out i will wire it... Im sure that will be the easy part.
