  1. Unplug the cold start injector as well. If the thermotime(sp?) switch is bad it can cause unnecessary use of the cold start injector. You say it smells like fuel, now check for spark. Also, smell your oil, if it is very very rich you might have washed the cylinder walls and fuel could have gotten into your oil. You should change it if it smells like fuel. Mario
  2. Yea I'm missing the scavenging effect since the pipes are completely seperated. It doesn't sound like any Z I've ever heard before so I'm not too keen on changing it until I go to full out power (boosted/RB/V8/etc) and by then the current exhaust setup will be too small. It sounds amazing though... Mario
  3. Putting it in the compartment makes it really easy to tune your brake performance. A friend with the AZC setup had to mess with his a lot to get the bias the way he liked it. Mario
  4. You can always get a wired 3 wire sensor. Same as a one wire but heated. You can place it anywhere before a cat I've heard... Considering new O2s are like $75, I'd rather save my money and get a wideband to tune multiples cars with. Mario
  5. Thats awesome x64V! I need to bring down my camera... all these cars look great! Can't wait till summer when I can actually work on mine... Mario
  6. Was your car an auto originally? That washer might be the spacer that went on the crank end before the auto flex plate. Mario
  7. Hahaha! I like the pic! Mmmmm shiny turbos Mario
  8. You'e cutting in the wrong place. I cut through the tube and cut the flange right off. A sawzall makes quick work of this. Though there must be a way to take them out without destroying them considering they are in there... Mario
  9. Read step 23 For some reason I'd be ok if Google took over the world... Haha j/k Mario
  10. Dead sexy Yasin! I love "old" Porsches, when I'm rich and out of college (haha) I want to get one for a project. Mario
  11. With front and rear camber at -2deg I get no rubbing on 225/50-R15s with 15x7 0 offset wheels. It hasn't been tracked yet (will be in like 3 weeks in New Mexico), but it's been over speedbumps and fully loaded without rubbing. And it also sits very low =) EDIT: No fender mods yet. Mario
  12. Indicated 130 mph. Calculated from Z design studio comes out around 125 mph adjusted for gearing and tire size (225/50R15). Still pulling, just ran out of gears (4... blew the 5 speed on a similar occasion). Car felt planted since it is way lowered. I'm plan on putting the front splash shield along with a reinforced urethane lip with the necessary ducting this summer. Oh and a 240sx 5 speed Mario
  13. ESPECIALLY since people go through the trouble of cutting of and rewelding roofs to get rid of the sunroofs people install! If you really want a sunroof on your Z, why not trade the shell with someone that doesn't? Plus the roof is a huge structural element of the Z, and you'd be cutting a huge hole in it. Mario
  14. It's a mirror image of the right one if I remember correctly. It's like 3 nuts (or is it bolts?), you might have to move the gas tank to see them. Also mine didn't fit through the valance holes, so i cut off the flanged ends with a sawzall and slid them out. Mairo
  15. Yep looks like the MSA 3-2 (which I think was from pacesetter). I believe the NISMO ones are tuned and pretty pricey. Mario
  16. This is what I don't understand! There is a high level (currently 70 I think) that two of my roommates got to pretty fast after the expansion, and yet they don't stop playing. One of them failed out of engineering here at U of A because of this stupid game and the other is going from a chill social person to a recluse like the first... I hate this game. Mario
  17. That looks great! What are your plans for the rear? You should put a fuel cell and mount it so that there is enough space for a diffuser! Mario
  18. The bushings kit is cheaper at summitracing.com, as well as the S/T swaybars I think... Definately shop around. The Tokico's are cheapest (or were) on eBay. Drop it a bit and flair it and it will look amazing! Mario
  19. The NES controller sounds like an awesome idea especially with a car with lots of A/V upgrades. I'm thinking of going with the keypad idea. I remember finding a kit that was ~$40, just mount it in the center console with a covered start button next to it all "Transporter" style haha Mario
  20. I didn't think I was in the minority for liking the bug eye'd WRX... in fact me and my friends back in highschool always dreamed of rallying one... Looks like Subaru is committing seppuku... Mario
  21. I don't know what angle the LSx heads are at for their intake or if there is any offset, but this is how they do it on the 1UZ-FE: Click here to see Video Mario
  22. It's called MegaSquirt Seriously though, try Blue's tests for spring tension. The spring might be warn on your afm. Or try another afm. In my experiences the stock tuning has always been on the rich side. Mario
