softopz
Does that intake clear inner fender? Specifically throttle body/tps. Mine is hitting needs to be either clocked 90 put cable from top of manifold, cut out/bang fender/shock tower, or change angle of the flange at intake side. Thats for me with 2jz, cx mounts(altered them to have motor in the middle though. Dont know about if you fitted before or not. seattlejester
That is a point, with my motor placement I think I had 9 inches and the first runner was like 11 inches out. Hence the tubular FFIM on my car.
Exposed
I ended up putting the engine in today. Good news is it clears it by half an inch!
Exposed
Haven't had to much time to plug away with work being as busy as it is and wrapping up home renovations. On the fence about mounting the turbo and snipping the hood or mounting the turbo lower and leaving the hood as is. I ended up moving the alternator over just incase I want to bring the turbo lower. Next step, modify the lower waterneck outlet and bring it as close to the block as possible. For the guys who upgraded to a single turbo has anyone braced the turbo back to the block or frame of the car?
seattlejester
I've heard mixed about bracing, like since the pipes are expanding bracing can cause fractures from the tension caused by fixing the turbo flange in place in respects to the expanding pipes. Not that continually expanding and shrinking pipes with a weight on it would fare much better. Part of why I went with the heavy SS cast manifold. Exposed
Ended up making a brace to the block that's able to support the weight of the turbo, fingers crossed it doesn't crack on me. Will also be modifying the water neck outlet to pass below the waste gate.

Exposed
lol I think it took me 4 hours, that includes farting around on some other stuff. Ended up cutting off the end tanks on the intercooler and started my cardboard template.

Exposed
Had a bit of time on my hands two weeks ago, had been waiting on the old ladies water to break. I have a headlight bucket that has seen better days, decided to try something different out, I couldn't source anything newer. Current prototype print is PLA settings are 210 at the nozzle and 60 at the bed. 20191125_235035.mp4 also got a bit more practice laying some beads as well, this is for a 59 chevy.
