Sonethirty
What are they off of? I won a set for a zx off yahoo japan last year, but Rinkya decided to be a pain in the ass and not send em to me. Had to fight to get my money back for like 3 months. Sonethirty
Awesome frank! Do you like the rear window louver? Everyone seems to take theirs off if they get a car with one.
Gollum
Awesome frank! Do you like the rear window louver? Everyone seems to take theirs off if they get a car with one. I have three, would you like one? One is even from a 2+2, though I'm not sure if they're actually a different part.
Sonethirty
Yeah Ive been trying to find one locally with no luck. Its not easy finding parts in the land of american muscle. Shoot me a pm if your serious.
frank280zx
I like this style, there are many diffrent brands, and this one kind of flows with the car. Do i like em ? it all depends on the car, for some reason it really suits this car.. and it goes well with the 80's look in a field PACKED with skylines!!! richracing
just finished the paint and bodywork on mine.
sticky280zx
nice paint, for some reason though i havent been able to justify shaving the back...ive had many zx's and even with a front spoiler/dropped bumper they always look goofy with no butt. I put a full kit on the last one after just trying to put the front bumper on and thinking about shaving the rear..theres just a big gap in the stock front with a shaved back, and the front kit really "needs" the back to me to look right..oh well more pics of it though. Ps heres franks in a size we can actually see lol
Gollum
I really want to shave the back of my DD, but I'd also want to smooth out the sides, and make custom smoother hood while I was at it. I think if you smooth out some of those harsh lines then dealing with making a custom from piece would be easier to visualize. But I agree that most of the front bumpers/air dams for the S130 just don't look right without a rear bumper.
sticky280zx
well reason being is if its not a "lip" type spoiler (which leaves the huge bumperless gap) it is a "kit" piece (which has a bumper made in) lol hence the delima...and custom is the only way to go, hence the lack of motivation. -Jeff
sticky280zx
plus the fact that the rear lights stick out like a sore thumb since they arent "recessed" from the factory
richracing
i was thinking about recessing the lights, but i dont know if i wanna go that custom with it. next will be a front air dam and wider wheels ...And this is what it looked like when i bought it about 3 weeks ago

calvin280zxt
Hey guys, i have an 82 turbo, automatic for now.. and an 82 na donor car, (currently sitting on its side as im stealing the five speed out of it haha) had the donor car for a few years, loved driving it but it was to far gone. came across my good 280, guy was selling it to get a car for college, so i traded my sunfire for it. in the process of fixing some minor rust, putting in the five speed, and working on getting a z31 ecu for it to run nistune. and finding some fenders as i hit a bear a few months ago and the other side is rusty.. hoping to have it done in the spring
