Armand
I'm 17 and I've been pulled over 5 times under my first year. I've only had one small "unsafe lane change" ticket which was a very small misdemeanor. Over the summer I always shave my head and cops are on my ass left and right. One time I was driving my dads old buick which has a small crack in the windshield. Cop pulls me over for the crack, and from the crack they somehow find me suspicious and end up searching me, cuffing me, putting me in back of his cop car, while him and his partner are tearing through everything trying to find some weapons or drugs. The cop comes back says "I'm gonna let you go this time, but get that windshield fixed.".... OK Officer.. Mind you I've never been arrested, convicted of any crime, or have a record. jtmny1999
I always get pulled over, the reason: shaved head /male hispanic. I got used to it for a while but now that I drive a nissan sentra its been alot less. Back in High School I drove a 79' turbo Regal, black on black with Iroc rims. With that ride I got pulled over at least 3 times a month for no reason, but I live In LA so its more common I suppose? But yeah I hate cops, some are real assholes. Once I got a ticket with 7 violations ($1500 ticket) riding my bike because I happen to run into a white racist cop =( He wrote me down for everthing u can think of that was wrong with my bike. There's really nothing you can do when ur on the other side of the badge. Just shake it off and keep ur head up man. =D
bobbyc
i can only imagine what your z sounds like with open 3" pipe comin off the turbo....as you are WOT merging with traffic on a highway with a 8' cement wall right beside you

Pop N Wood
aziza a the only reason a cop will pull over a car as prettty as that is because he is another car nut wanting to talk. I would cover those fuel lines better just for safety's sake
naviathan
Looks like a good excuse for a rear diffuser. Eeven though it seems they have no real advantage it'll look good and cover the "race car tip off" for the cops.
ihatejoefitz
I'm in the same boat. I don't get pulled over, but when a cop sees me in the "nice" part of town there is about a 80% chance he will get right on my bumper and run my plates. I feel like making a bumper sticker that says, "Driving a shitty car is not a crime."
bjhines
It's not as bad when you get older. I can remember getting pulled over for xyz reasons when I was younger. Now that I have grey hair they don't look twice. The fact is that young people DO need to be reminded that they are being watched from time to time. I see a lot of stupid moves on the part of sub 25yo. people all the time. Just last week I had a high school girl all over my ass trying to race me with her Tubo SRT4. I smiled and waved her off. She still tried to get me to race for several minutes after that. It is really a pain in my ass to get all the attention from younglings on the road. I cannot drive around town without some youngster blipping their throttle and weaving around me in traffic... every damn time. I tend to give them the finger to get them to blast off away from me. grumpyvette
try driving a 10 second corvette on the street.......I HAD BETTER POLICE ESCORTS THAN THE PRESIDENT ....AND HAD EQUIPMENT CHECKS ALMOST DAILY COURTESY OF ROAD SIDE INSPECTIONS ,never got a ticket but I needed to drive VERY CAREFULLY, the guy living behind me at my old house was a total #$%^^& that was a police captain, who HATED street racing and was convinced I somehow was the source of all speed infractions in the state, simply because of all the hot/fast cars in the old shop after awhile a few of the cops became much friendlier and on a first name basis, treat them nice act friendly and some of them will treat you decent, but youll always run into @#$%^&*& on occasion, BTW It all got better after I started doing repairs at dirt cheap prices for the cops personal cars, one of which eventually was the neighbors boss
BillZ260
Having an orange car doesn't help, but yeah I think profiliing is a fair call on your part. Don't sweat it, don't do anything wrong and live with it untill you paint your car, get a beater, or get older. Number 2 and 3 worked for me PS Don't paint your car, i love it. slownrusty
Think about it, if they pull you over it gives them less time to actually fight crime..makes sense. Laziness pays off. This car used to get me in trouble with our "finest": I always used to give attitude back, fought every ticket, embarrased many cops infront of the Judge and won several of my infractions. "Heck its *just* a 20year old Toyota Corolla, there is no way I could have been clocked doing 90mp/h".....! (290whp...LOL!) Surprisingly 2years of ownership on bright red 911Turbo, and I have never been pulled over in it. I have never been pulled over in my white 280ZX Turbo or even the sleeper 323 Turbo (and I drive that like I stole it). Yasin
Globerunner513
got pulled over last week...although i kinda deserved that took a u turn around a center devider, and drifted the last half of the turn...cop siting there didn't like that too much...whoops!! but i was as respectful and understanding as i could be and actually pulled over for him before he was behind me. Gave me a wreckless driving ticket, but no $$ amount. just have to tell the judge what happened lol. hopefully it won't look too bad on my record... Not sure about where you live but certain tickets, like wreckless driving, insurance companies interpret as drunk driving. That one might be worth doing what ever you have to do to get it reduced. big-phil
I was pulled over 9 times in my small town in less than one year on my sportbike. Never givin a ticket. wheelman
Ok all you young guys (sub 25) who is that is being stupid most of the time out on the streets? Who is it that generally drives the faster modified cars and has more of a propensity to street race? And you wonder why the cops pay more attention to you than to the older gentleman driving a nice Porsche or Vette or even a ratty looking fairly loud 240Z? I know the cops profile and I happen to agree with it. Younger less experienced drivers in high performance cars are more likely to injure or kill someone because they don't think far enough ahead to anticipate problems. When they get into a bad situation they have less experience to draw from. Now don't flame me as I know these are generalizations and there are actually some younger drivers who are controlled and with lots of experience but thats the exception. If you don't want the cops to notice you cut your hair, paint the car, put a muffler on it and don't act like an ass while on the streets. When they do notice you, be respectful, don't take it personally (they don't know you from Adam, and if they do it's a problem) and if you deserve the ticket admit it and stop doing things that will earn them.
