  1. Freestream Cars T1: http://www.freestreamcars.com/
  2. I've used AutoCAD, CADKey, and have seen someone using Solidworks. Hands down, IMO, CADKey is by far the easiest to use. Everything is so simple and easy to use. It was designed as a 3D program where AutoCAD was designed for 2D originally.
  3. Actually get my Honda back together and running. Sort my parent's Cobra out (tune, suspension, drivetrain). Lose 30 lbs and be able to hit at least a six foot huck on my bike by the end of 06.
  4. If you wanted to do some sort of biking, I'm sure I get a hold of a good bike from a friend for you to use. Oakland hills has some good downhill stuff if you're into that at all. Marin also has some great trails. I've heard people go on and on about China Camp. For those of you that live out here, we should host some sort of get-together, so Mike can meet everyone. Isn't April usually the time that Dan puts on the show out in Rio Vista? That's if he plans on doing it again. If you wanted, I could take you for a drive in the car my mom drives to work everyday (Especially after knowing that you owned a Mustang for a few years.) There are few Dodge diesel guys in the area if you're interested. I could set it up so you could meet the owner of Winspeed Diesel and his 750HP daily driven truck. There is another "concept" bike building shop in Oakland opening up soon. Its a bike shop/tatoo parlor/cafe/restaurant. You can grab a bite and watch some bikes or cars on the dyno all after you peruse the showroom floor. Well...keep us updated, so maybe all of us Bay people can get something together for you.
  5. I believe they also help reduce NOx emissions too???
  6. So...all I need is some good carbs? That must have been the problem all along. Skinny me, here I come Keep the magazines coming.
  7. As far as I can tell, that's the real deal. The paint looks to be some sort of Champion Motorsports or Porsche tribute deal. It says "Le Mans Paint." Those aren't 996 style headlights unless I'm missing something. As far as I can tell, that's the real deal.
  8. I think the mini-van we used to own had 100,000 Bosch platinums in it. Ran pretty well for 100,000 until the engine had to be lowered for them to be replaced (in conjuction with a new tranny). The only fancy-pancy plugs that I know that work are the NGK Iridiums. Work pretty well in all my experiences.
  9. If you or your girlfriend see him driving by her house slow and creepy like, walk outside and start taking pictures. Every time he does this, go out and take a picture. Make sure you have a date and time stamp on the picture...it would definitely help. You could maybe be more sneeky about it and video tape it with time and date evidence recorded on the tape. Ask all the people whom let you know about him coming around if they would be willing to give their witness of events to a police officer for a report. If you can start adding all these things up, you will be able to build a big enough report to get a restraining order against this guy (Like all the others have said). Pictures, video, and others people evidence will help a ton. Keep a level head, take in lots of evidence, and let the legal system put him away for awhile before he can do anything truly dangerous.
  10. I take care of two Rottweilers during the week for extra cash. One of them had bad, bad genetic defects in both her hind legs causing her knees to pop out of the sockets. Long story short, the owners couldn't put her down, so they had her legs fixed. Now, they both need a baby sitter. The male (and not the broken one) is 110lbs. The female with the bad legs is close to 90. When those dogs go at it, I almost don't want to be in the way. The big one glanced my leg at full sprint and just about sent me head over heels. Big problem with Rots, or at least these ones is that they're so territorial. Any other dog, person, etc... walking down the street sets them off in to full bark mode. The drool is pretty damn bad, but they are still fun to play with. If anyone is thinking about getting a Newfoundland, I can put you in touch with a guy that comes into the Starbucks I work at, because he runs, or helps run an organization in Northern California dealing with the breed.
  11. Isn't that the one running around beating up on all the 600+HP 03/04 Cobras and such?
  12. IMO...these are what I would think for a good street/autox tire for the price Kumho MX Falken Azenis RT215 or RT615 Avon Tech M500 Yokohama Advan Neova Sumitomo HTR ZII I have experience with the both the Kumho MX's and Falken Azenis RT215s. The MX's are on my mom's 500RWHP Cobra. It hooks up well considering and handles well at the limit. The tires let you know when they're read to let go too. The Azenis are on my brother's "g-pull" Honda Civic. They just keep grabbing and are also designed with a bit of negative camber in mind. There is much more meat on the inner part of the tire. My friend also has these on his 3600lb 740 hybrid turbo Volvo. He has over 30,000 miles on them and still going strong. Lasted much longer than the Nitto NT555s and Pirelli P Zeros that he had previously. I've heard that the AVS Yoks just don't compare to the newer tires. They tested them last year in Eurotuner with the same car and they came in dead last. I think they just did a new tire test in the current issue if you want to check that out. May help your decision. I'm sure there are more, but I can remember any off the top of my head. There are also the "competition" tires too. Nitto NT01, Kumho V700 and V710, etc...
  13. Sometimes the manufacturer will list weights on their website or tirerack will have it (mainly for "competition" tires though). I don't think they'll weigh much more by going up in wheel diameter (and down in sidewall size), but its the extra width that adds the mass. I have been known to be wrong before many, many times.
  14. Lighter wheels on a street car definitely help ride quality too. We did an imprompto test with two sets of wheels my friend had for his Volvo. One set weighed about 15 lbs per wheel more than the other (The heavier ones being and aftermarket wheel, while the lighter were off an 850R). The car rode much, much better with the lighter wheels even though they were of the 17" variety (compared to 16" for the heavier ones) and had a smaller sidewall. If I remember, they had the same tire (Nitto 555s).
  15. Sounds like you need a little help *cough* power adder *cough* to take advantage of the porting.
