  1. One other thing, easier said then done. Don't ask me how I know......
  2. One thing that ALWAYS gets over looked, a simple old saying should suffice: yin and yang. People always seek balance, if you find yourself in crappy relationships, it is because you seek balance (ugly as it might be) In some ways the "other" person really has nothing to do with you, they are circumstantial and can be replaced. Pick up a book called passionate marriage. Your life will remain unchanged untill you decide to take responsiblity/accountablity for yourself, you can not make others do it for you.
  3. To prove it to her, offer to go to counseling with her. She needs it, and it won't hurt. If you had something to hide that is something you typically would not want to do. Get someone good, shop it.
  4. Teehee, I new those gauges look familar. Sonar tech, tridents.
  5. Some would also describe that feeling as: dead, unresponsive, beached. Even I got to admit that is very funny;)! You start getting above 130, (I did have t-tops off, windows down, 2 persons), the ride starts to deteriorate very quickly. Some time I will have to talk about my single 50ish car pass on that same trip.
  6. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May you have many more bithdays, not wipeout;)!
  7. Congrats! Children are trully a joy in one's life! They are little copying machines, I've ajusted my behavior to some degree because it is like looking into a mirror, just more effective. People always say what great kids you have,,,,,,, My response is: "I don't let them out of the closet much ;)" Congrats agians, seems like you can more then just killer cars !!!
  8. My car has stock parts, it is funny how alignment even from the factory is off. My hood sits almost a 1/4 inch off to one side!
  9. I have to say this is some what of a stretch. The site is dedicated to making these cars better. Some neutral stuff gets allowed, but you are going back wards. Why not just get the turbo rebuilt? I'm sure it will give you a smile;)
  10. I will say one thing about my car, I really don't like the red interior. I swapped alot of my 82 black interior into my 83. I think my ride will be very different when I can put a much better bucket seat into it. I always call my car a Z, though I know it is a Zx. Nissan noticed this to, I think, cause the newer cars are Zs' again. It dose say Datsun!! In the future I will have to mod that emblem and cut off the nissan . It's just the ride is soooooooo................nice. Crusing down the rode, t-tops off, music up, stong hum of that 2.8liter..............nice, very nice.
  11. Typically I do work for friends for free. Because of this, I DEMAND, that they buy the best parts.
  12. At least I can call my car a Datsun, because it says it on the back. I've owned zx's for about 12 plus years, in recent times the car get noticed ALOT more! I think this is due to the lack of them on the road and the newer generations not knowing the s130. Also, more guys are like, yea I had one of those, great car! The eighties were fun for a lot of folks, and this car was a piece of that era! Its age is giving it that fine wine taste. This car is really great DD, it can be track-able of course, but its comfort just makes it seem a little out of place in stock condition. I've considered putting my n47 head, headers, bullfrog cam, ms and meth injec. on my zx and giving it to my wife. (all I have to do is get the ecu, I hoping next year) Then getting another z or zx. If I can get a z, I will not have to do battle just to go to the store, I will borrow my wifes car The car I built will probably pound my brains, (esp with our roads here), stink, and leave me stranded more often, but hey when you own "race" car what do you expect! The problem with these two cars, s30/s130, is they are so close, yet so different. You really don't see this much between the other z's that followed. In the end the s130 held it's own, and now it's making a come back! (thanks to the s30 guys useing them as donors, hence rearer) So my hat is off to all those s30 guys! One other thing, around here there are some bone stock s30's that are mint. Not that pretty, (bone stock). Bike tires with some terrible hub caps, puke. The s130 had better styling, bone stock. On the other hand, change a few things and WOWOWOWOWOW! That s30 is one hot ticket. I really need to see hugh's and other s130's next to some s30's in person to figure for my self.
  13. Hopefully all your bolts come out!! Antiseize, when installing.
  14. At a 125ish, plus, the 82zx starts to get light in the steering. At 140 it is a both hands on the wheel. This is my experience in Montana with lifted speed limits, so I had long stretches of runs. Heck, average cruising was at 100 for hours. Stock, (old) shocks, this may have given me different results, just when you hit ups in the road she would take her time to come back down.
  15. Do you watch FOX for their comedy or made-up stories? Just wondering! I'am going to guess you are also a big fan of MJ.........teehee.
  16. Open up the afm and mark it. Then tighten up the spring.
  17. Now that there is royal purple in there, it may be 10-20yrs before I need to change the fluid in it again. (knock on wood). I know the diff was done, 7years ago and the top plug was stuck pretty bad. Just cheap insurance. It's that steel plug, cast aluminum case, yea probally over tighten due to the use of big tools, as well.
  18. the thicker wire will consume more heat energy in conductivity of the cross sectional width of the conductor core itself If I read this correctly, it would be less. The larger the conductor, (based on load requirements), less overall wattage will be eaten up by the wire. (in the form of voltage)
  19. LOLOLOLO!!!! Thats what me be thinking!!! Well put!
  20. Man, looks like you are having lots of fun! I need money!!
  21. ^^ WOW, that is cool, did not know the french could build something that cool.
