  1. My home is so off after a couple of things I did, I threw away the level. Everything is done by eye, I'm becoming a master of optical illusions!
  2. Mine is a beautiful 1912 craftsman. The po's Sheetrock over the lath and plaster. When I do a room, I take it back to the studs, insulate all walls and ceilings, new, (and more) 12ga weiring, lots of low volt, heavily reinforce all framing, then use that thicker sheet rock on the walls (fire rated) only because it is soooo much stronger. I typically only like to do things once. My background in home construction is this house. If code requires 2x6, I will use 2x8's, why not, it is not that much more?
  3. Water frist? Mow sooner? Make sure you have to go pee? Threaten the neighbor within an inch of his life? 3/4in irrigation line handy? Buy your own drop plane? The list is endless;)
  4. That makes me uneasy to see. Me no "play" when it comes to guns, that kid wheeling that sand buggy, well that was funny.
  5. I would like to point out that the reinforcements on the zx are extensive comparatively to the the s30 doors. I remember a tread years ago on this subject.
  6. Baby, public roads with traffic, no. I will say this, it reminds me somehow of a motor home doing a smoky........ but alas we all grow up......
  7. Years back, I was talking to someone about this topic. He said there was a guy that just did not quite come up to NFL standards, so he went on to play rugby. According to what he said the guy ruled!!!!!! I know they have protective gear on, however, getting hit by one of them, even without protective equipment would be tantamount to being hit by a freight train.
  8. Since I can not be political, I will say this: COOOOLLL use of tech!! Anyone here have that ability? Do police cars have track ability? For there own safety, of course.
  9. Too bad foldgers comes in plastic containers now.........
  10. Meth injection, it will pay for its self in no time.
  11. The only thing I find odd, without reading all the postings is, what is the police report at the scene?? Skid marks? swerve marks? posted speed limits, vs, approx impact speed? At a corner? road known for spirited driving? How come the trail car was soo far back? Driving record? What is with that other damaged vehicle in the first pic? Why are both wrists broken, from both hands on the wheel? Most all these questions can be answered, if I were him I ssoooooo would want to know. It would be forefront in my mind!
  12. Odd, i've never read anything about this before, knowing you, you do;) Departing some wisedom in near future, D???
  13. I was told that had something to do with noise reduction. With the H/O alt from Z specialties those wires are disregarded.
  14. Ummmm, I might have had some left over bolts and nuts without a clue where they went. Thank goodness it never came back to haunt me, knock on wood.
  15. Unfortunatly, there are some around here that might thank you.......
  16. I've been wanting to throw this out for a while. Somehow I can not be certian, but is it fireing on all holes? Is it skipping here and there? Have some one help keep it alive, and start pulling injector plugs or spark plugs.
  17. True, yet dry chem is better suited for liquid fires, however it is very corrosive to wireing. Afff is the best for liquid fires, or sudzy water. Dry removes O2 from the triangle, co2 dose this as well, and, heat, but sucks at reflash. It can also spread fire due to the fuel being spread about. In the navy the number 1 fire agent for putting out a fire is........... (hint: it is not because it is largly avalible, just proven)
  18. Donna nursed you back to health yet, old man? Or did she get injured to on a "birthday" ride as well
  19. Make a video for my family, and try to give them the best of me that they can have for the rest of there life, without me. I'll be dead, they will be alive, mine is the easy part.
  20. Yep^^ Well put. It is always tuff getting over that "hump", men typically need that kick in the arse, though it is always a tough pill to swallow.
