One more tid bit, on any seals like cam seal, crank seals and "o" rings, I grease them with clean hands and grease. This is in order not cause micro abrasion in the rubber.

Outside of certain gaskets, ie. head gasket, exhaust stuff, etc, I really think you guys are just spitting hairs here. (The last felpro head gasket had rtv on it) Anyhoo, I personally use rtv on a lot of seals, mostly because when I go to remove them years later, they come off, (apart), easier. On American auto trannies, I let rtv set up on the seal for some time before tightening, never had one leak. If it works for you, great! No need to get into a huff over this one.

The front calipers on my zx were much simplier and the seal kit costs was, I think, 5 bucks. Go to your parts store and price a seal/rebuild kit and have them open it up for you.

Whoa there, it did not seem to me that he was really mocking/slamming you. With his next post, he definity seemed to not be what you were thinking. Being part of HybridZ, you need to develop a little thicker skin. I hope you have good luck in modding the injection cooling fan system, post pics!
