  1. I have 17x7.5's on mine. If you do a search you'll find several post that I 've put pics on about the clearence in the front. As for the rear they will fit with out any adapters but, to make them look right I used some. They 1.5" so yes with the right offset you could use 17x9's.
  2. Stony- I thin kyour e-mail is going to be flooded with this pic. I sent it awhile back also.
  3. Are you sure the pipe to the turbo going forward with pressurised air is connected good? I had this also happen once the pipe looked like it was on good but, every time I got into boost it would lift off some and lose any pressure the car ofcourse fell on it's face after that. I've evn had connectors that were fine while with vaccum but, with boost leaked big time.
  4. Where are we? I'm so out of touch anymore. This sucks..I'm not that old.. Am I???
  5. Atleast he tried right??? I think his thought process went like this.
  6. Welcome back!! You going to the meeting?
  7. I've thought of that before. With the bigger t-body's it seems like you at WOT all the time. The main proublem that I see in doing this is the fabrication it would take to get this thing to fit our manifolds. Another question is about the total CFM raing of a 60mm and one of these t-body's.
  8. It's almost time for me to have a new downpipe made for my car. Any ideas of what this should cost me? Any things that I need to look for? I'm doing this to replace the one I broke when taking the thing aprt but, I'm hoping to make some extra power with it also. Thanks
  9. When did this start happening? All of the suden or after a car wash or what? Mine did that once but, it was after I had washed the car and got water in the TPS sensor. Makes the car act crazy.
  10. I don't think Shane did much of anything to his block other than just being in sound condition. He has switch to a SDS system and is making a ton of HP. If you look down the page some you'll see a post be him with his numbers. Also check out his intercooler it's one of the best looking units out there and I think he got it for a good price.
  11. Sorry for the interuption. Hey greg, haven't seen you on any of the boards in awhile. You helped me out several times a couple of years ago. Thanks
  12. Well I used the factory fittings with the hoses cut off. I took everything to a hose shop and had them braze on fittings and used stainless braided hoses. Looks great amd should hold up well.
  13. Thats funny Tim. I looked and looked at doing this when this happened to me but, never could get it all. Your one up on me now.
  14. Tim, thats crazy! How in the world did you do that? I had to take all that crap off once and would have loved to fix it with the screw drivers.
  15. Not really sure how fast I was going but, I 5500 rpm's in 5th with my ZXT. Car felt great but, I'm not sure I'll be doing that again any time soon.
  16. Heres the links. Drag Rev Hard Hope this helps. It should atleast get you started.
  17. You need to look for Drag or Rev Hard manufacturing they both sell mainfolds that will accept a t-3 based turbo. You might be able to find a kit that is easier and almost as cheap as putting everything together yourself. There are so many Civics on the road that all thier parts are much cheaper than parts for our cars.
  18. Thanks for the compliments. The turbo is a hybrid ofcourse with a stage 2 turbine wheel and a ? comprosser wheel. I had that part put on a couple of years ago and didn't ask the guy what it was . Heres a pic of it though maybe someone can tell me or give me an idea of what it is. Specs on the engine are really simple for what I hope it will do. No major machine work was done. I'm hoping I can make the motor last for 2 or so years while I slowly build-up a stroker turbo motor. New turbo head bolts Roller piolt bearing .6mm metal head gasket ARP rod bolts HD main Bolts All wear items were replaced The head was cleaned, valve job, and decked just a touch. Dial-A-Clutch 102% over stock capacity clutch Lightened stock flywheel Shanes, old JWT set-up Hopefully I'll have it running by the end of the week. My old exhaust system broke in half when I was taking it apart so now I have to rig it back together to get it to the shop to have a custom 3" downpipe made for it to match the 3" cat-back system on it. I still need to find a good cheap LSD to put under it. I'd love for this set-up to get me into the 12's and the next motor to get me deep into the 11's.
  19. Try this guy. I've seen him post before about stuff he's selling. I've even thought of buying a set for the next rebuild. I'm not sure if they are the 8mm or 9mm rods. 240 Rods Let me know what you find out if you would.
  20. Seems like it has taken me forever to even get this far but, the engine is in and it's just a matter of hooking everything up and starting the break in procedures.
  21. If I'm not mistaken that the same thing that I have also. Seems like a good street turbo.
  22. Sounds good Tim. Mine didn't pass when I went to have it done during the summer. Not long after one of the rods stsrted knocking so it's been sitting waiting for the new engine that it should get this weekend. Hopefully I'll be on the road by next week.
  23. Yo, Can you give better details? I just had to replace mine but, haven't used it yet. Maybe I'll just swap over to what you bought.
