  1. Advance Auto. $119.00 including $29.00 core. I bought one for my early 260, but yet to install. Looks the same.
  2. The member "iaconsultants" posted that he still had made mods for Tom. Look at your post when you had posted the broshure pictures from TT. I believe there were other mods. John
  3. Sean, Stop. You cannot use just any Holley carb. The Turbo Tom carb is modified. Note the vacuum tube coming out of the side of carb. Note the guy who left a previous post about modifying carbs for Tom. Clean up the old carb. John
  4. Thanks for your input. Nothing works on the tach, including the turn signals so, it is probably electrical. I tried to purchase a used one but on ebay you never know. Many of the sellers are just plain dishonest. I downloaded posts for chaning the tach out with an Autometer. I might just go that direction. Thanks
  5. I have been searching thru the threads to find anyone who has attempted to repair the stock tach. Or is it repairable?
  6. Good products will always find a market. If Ross spoke Japanese and answered his emails it would be better.
  7. It is "N36." Email me at: jgeeg35@yahoo.com with your address. I'll send it UPS shipping paid. I'll enclose shipping bill and send me a check (other other method) to address on shipping bill. John
  8. I am cleaning the garage and was ready to throw these out but maybe someone can use them. For early '74 260Z: Carb Manifold, some linkage and carbs and air cleaner assembly. All for shipping costs around $25-30 by UPS ground. If no takers then it's off to the dump.
  9. Hang on to those. I have often thought, if I needed another carb. what the heck I would do.
  10. Here! Here! John Gee Houston, Tx Turbo Tom Setup 1994 Water injection Electromotive Ignition P90A "O" ringed, F54 R200 LSD Jahns forged pistons Trying to get it going again after 10yrs laid up
  11. I used the same Black Dragon product. It was a piece of junk. Mine also blew out in just a few minutes. I think it is the fuses in the black boxes. I pulled it off and just made it stock again.
  12. As young as you are, you really need to be careful. When I was 18, I was working putting in a modifed Torqueflite in a Dodge Coronet when the damn thing slip out of the trans jack. I thought at the time the trans was more important than my back and I pulled some muscles. Took me a week to get over it and to this day (I'm 58) I continue to have problems from time to time. During my pharmacy career, I have seen alot of guys with bad backs.
  13. Good story, I hope. If it is for real, then, the old saying is " Don't sh?t, where you eat.
  14. You guys laugh, but if the website is not bogus, i bet they sold some to people who only refrained from turning right or left!
  15. Look good so far. Please keep us updated John
  16. Olie05: I didn't know that UH had a racing team. I'm impressed. Hey, Ed: How much were the wheels and where did you get them. I'm glad to see you in better financial shape. J. Gee UH Pharmacy Class '71
  17. I really envy you guys with ability and time. Keep up the good work.
  18. I think wifes and girl friends just tolerate it. At least you're not a bar getting drunk or chasing other women. Personally, I don't have many bad habits except too much work. I think she rather see me in the garage.
  19. I agree with Taste of Texas. Also Perry's. For an experience with S. American meats of all kinds, try Fogo d'chao (sic) on Westheimer. For a good but expensive meal, try Capital Grill. Welcome, hope you have a good time.
  20. It seems that everyone has had a problem or two with PayPal. When I use PayPal, I still put it on a credit card, but I understand from a story in Wall St. that credit cards companies sometime will not help you if it is used thru PayPal. I agree that if your problem is $50 or less than you are out of luck. I have lost about $500.00 over the last couple of yrs. The most was S14 cars seats off Ebay that came torn with parts missing. Buyer Beware! (cavet empor... or something like that!) I have loss a lot of enthusiasm of Ebay in general.
  21. It is a Turbo Tom (R.I.P.) setup. I have such with the water injection setup. I worked well. Glad to see another. I blew the turbo and replaced it with a Turbonetics with a water jacket. I is laid up with a leaking head gasket. Tom was way ahead of almost everyone else. Sorry to see him go.
  22. I know him and have spent at least $1,000 with this guy. JUST BE CAREFUL. Parts maybe ok, but he doesn't honor any problem repairs and I have caught him in at least 1 lie when he didn't need to.
  23. I used this site, but after you call you still must go by and look. Several had them pulled without the "hangars". I found one pair intact on the car and bought those. I used the pair as cores to get rebuilt "unloaded" rebuilt calipers and swapped the parts I needed off the junk yard parts. It cost my two weeks time but it didn't cost my any more $. Even if you use the junk yard parts you still need to rebuild the calipers.
  24. Sorry about title, my cat sat on the mouse.. I just had this problem. Called all over Houston (3mil people, 5mil junk yards or it seemed). Go to O'reilly's or Autozone. You need the "loaded" calipers which has all the necessary parts including the "hangars" and throw away the pads. I spent weeks calling junk yards.
