i watched the re-run, i gotta agree with one of those guys when he said how u gonna come to pinks or any race and ask for 14 cars... i mean whats the point, u could bring a stock honda civic and ask for half the track length, but that doesn't mean ur winning anything....lol...

U can always go buy a new car if u want a turn key everyday practical car. But there's somthing about cutting up and getting ur hands dirty on ur own project that makes it worth it, especially when u see the results of ur own work. The biggest cost's are engine/trans, so if u can do most everything else (mounts, paint, metal work etc), u can make it really affordable and still turn out professional.

I hope to have a Z in the next couple weeks, and I will be donating to this site right away just for the simple fact that it's a godsent for newbies like me, i've learned so much from reading here.......U could make a manual for almost any mod or fix on a Z from this site.

I was just suprised because i've never seen a rhd car driving around other than the mail trucks, i didn't think it was legal

Last night coming home from a movie we pulled up to a stoplight and a 240sx pulled along side, and i looked over real quick and thought the driver was leaned back in the seat or somthing, but there wasn't a driver...lol... it was the first right hand drive car i've seen driving around, and it was a tricked out 240sx. Just thought i'd share that and see if any of yall have seen one like that? I didn't know it was legal other than mail delivery cars to be right hand drive here. I would have tested his car alittle, but i was in my 3/4 ton pickup, not my friends turbo s30...lol

well it would have been different if he had a helmet on and hit a patch of gravel and slid out, but he was showing off and didn't get hurt, thats why i said preach. That is how our society is though, because all my friends rag on each other over anything, so it definently rubs off on me but it's all in fun. I don't mean harm to the guy, i hope he's alright and had a laugh about it to. If i blow up an engine i wouldn't mind some people laughin about it, as long as there laughin with me and can help fix it. I laughed at the guy because i've crashed trying to showoff and i got humiliated but ended up laughing about it.

believe me, i've crashed doing some of the stupidest things and deserved all the trash talk i got afterwards...lol, it's just a result of the actions.

anyone who gets on a gsx1000 without a helmet deserves whatever comes after that, sorry about being so blunt, but it's just stupidity to get on that machine without one. I've had two R1's, i can laugh at that because the power is crazy on these bikes, and 1 slip of the throttle and ur on ur back. He obviously was trying to show off for that huge crowd behind him and took a spill. Because there not so powerful ur gonna slide out going straight down a track, so i feel ok about laughin seeing as he wasn't hurt. But i hear what ur sayin Mike, if he was hurt or somthin i would feel bad for sure, but he was showin off and that was kinda funny...

BMC choppers... first thing that came to mind, because i was drawing some bike's just now..lol... I'll prolly change the name again as soon as i get a Z, lol...maybe somthing like 76'280zTT350 dreaming

I say just drop by a shop and i bet they'll clamp them in and do it right then and there. Worst that could happen is they'll tell u someone that will do it.
