  1. Unplug the thermo time switch, and the cold start injector...yoo live in CA for God's sake, you dont need it.
  2. In the civilian world, I would be called either a Flight Engineer or a Flight Mechanic...depending on the aircraft. I have crewed Hueys, Blackhawks, and Gulfstream Jets..so take your pick
  3. IIRC the t-stat housing should have two sensors in it, the coolent temp sensor and the thermo time switch, then there is the head temp sensor mounted directly to the head. If the thermo time switch is not conected to anything, then you may have hard cold starts.
  4. Yes, it should bolt up to the Quaife just fine
  5. Night Auto-X shot from 2006-07 before I put the numers on. MSA 2009
  6. I would recomend that you contact Isky cams...and provide a Japanese cam for the core...the current Scneider cams might as well be made of pot metal FWIW
  7. PM S30TRBO he lives in southern MD
  8. I have had great success with the Facet pump http://shop.oreillyauto.com/ProductDetail.aspx?MfrCode=PUR&MfrPartNumber=PRO60SV&CategoryCode=3339K no regulator required if you use the factory fuel rail
  9. Thanks go out to BRAAP for moving this thread.
  10. AAAAWwww ♥♥♥♥, I cannot remember.....do you have the FSM for the year of harness that you are using....there was one particular wire that had to be spliced off to a switched hot to get the ECU to come on, and another that went to the fuel pump relay...best bet is to check the wiring schematics and make sure all of the hot wire paths are replicated
  11. That is actually a conversion kit used in Japan. IMHO, that is what the 350Z shoulda been...but with an RB motor in it.
  12. Rule number one; There are never witnesses at 1000 yards Rule number two; Crime labs cannot do ballistics on buckshot. I'm just sayin'
  13. Oh, I am not saying that you cannot find one in that price range from an individual seller, but I really only need the LSD unit as I have what I believe is the perfect ratio for my car.
  14. I would have considered the '08 3.9, but once again, it comes down to money.....the cat is outta the bag, and we are not the only ones going after these diffs...the subi guys are as well.
  15. Peoples Socialist Republic of Kalifunny
  16. The problem lies in the mount location....the early cars had the R-180 mounted 35mm fwd of the later R180 / R200 location...c'mon Joe, you should know this, how many times did we talk about why I am so adamant to leave the diff where it is.
  17. Most of the "yards" have figured out what these are worth and are charging upwards of 1000 for a STI R-180...regardless of what the diff ratio is, and I would still need to pony up about 500 for John's Adapters. I wanted a HLSD to install in my 4.11...the closest subi has is the 3.9 but it has a CLSD. This way, I get the LSD I want, I have the ratio I want, and another 500 gets me the adapters I need.
  18. Upon further review, and after consulting quite a few online photos of various R/T installs and the actual engineering drawing for the mount, my best bet is to get the mount without the upper mount hole drilled, mod it as you have done to get it to fit, with the gusset to the rear of course, and drill the mount hole EXACTLY where I want it.
