Where the rear bumper would mount, are there indents on the side of the body, or no? If there are, it's an early 260z.

Any idea what motor is in the Charger? As for my neighborhood, theres a guy across the street from me with an old hotrod, painted a dark red, don't know what motor, year, make, or model, although I suspect it's not a real one, but a replica instead. Someone a little bit down the street from me has this gorgeous, immaculate hotrod. It's a bright blue, with what I'm guessing is a small block chevy. On the other end of town theres an Oldsmobile of some sort in need of a LOT of work, and also a restored-to-stock Buick. I don't know much about any of the cars, but have seen them many times. Theres also a few nice mustangs, 2 STi's, and a modded WRX, but nothing else too special. Almost forgot, my Dad has a 68 Charger R/T with a Hemi swapped in, and a 67 GMC truck with a 6V-53 Detroit Diesel swapped in. I have a 53 Willys Jeep as well, but it's pretty rusty, so I don't think I'll bother posting pics unless requested. Pics:

Not that it matters much, but it looks more like a 240Z than a 280Z. Regardless, I certainly wouldn't mind having it.

Yep. I think I've heard of spraying it with a fire extinguisher too, and then chipping it off. I just did mine in the winter months, and it chipped off fairly easily for the most part.

Let me know if you can't find a new TC rod. I have an '80 ZX parts car, just a hassle to get parts off it, and the condition may not be too great. It's definitely a Datsun (rust)... basically I would recommend looking elsewhere first lol.

The roof is worth something to people who no longer want a sunroof. Depending on the condition of the other parts on the car, those are also worth something to those who need it... probably people on the east coast, haha.

IMO, the Rota RB's will look much better.

I'm in kind of a similar situation. I'm 17, have no job, and no money, and 2 Zs. However, I have a place to put them, where they won't be in the way of anyone, so I figure they can wait for me when I have time and money. I understand why you're selling it, but there's no one forcing you to mod it. Why not just drive it as is for the time being? Then again, I don't know the details of your situation, so maybe that's not in the cards...

I'd say 500 is a pretty good estimate. I can probably let you know fairly soon since I'll be cutting the front end off my 240z soon, just need to get the rear suspension/gas tank and a bunch of little stuff out. I just hope it doesn't fall apart when I do.

Sorry to hear. We had something similar happen to us when I was maybe 5 years old. I don't know the details, but some kids on an overpass or something threw a good sized rock at our car, judging by the dent (which is still there), about the size of a tennis ball. It hit the car about a foot below the passenger rear window, where I was... Glad you caught them.

I might be interested in the stainless trim too if it's in good condition. Particularly the corner piece for the front windshield trim, but all of mine could use replacing. Also, if the top of the shift knob looks like this: ... then I may also be interested in that too. There may be more, but I'll have to think about it. I can't afford much right now.

After looking at it a bit more, I've decided I definitely do not like the mirrors. I don't like how the hood has that flat face on the front. I'm not sure that made any sense, but I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. I don't like the dip in the roof, but its negligible. I think the front could use some tweaking, but it's not bad. However, I think the rear is a bit plain. There seems to be a lot of unused space back there. I don't like the louvers, but I've never really cared for them on any car. It definitely needs some wider tires, too. It's a great start though. Nissan needs to hire this guy.
