  1. I was browsing the web and found this Japanese site with some sweet cars for sale. Lots of pics and videos too. http://www.kurumaerabi.com/?SIDSISON=E6KX0DZXAF8E06CY6GEQ6L6U4JUAW4JNZAT24MXG&page=shop&store_id=37345
  2. Pure white looks really classy on a S30. I may go good ol guards red on my car. I always liked red on S30s but never considered it until I bought my current car. I guess it grew on me.
  3. I agree that the L28 will last forever with standard maintanence and upgraded fuel injection. I drove my old junkyard turbo l28 to the MSA show and back. Total of ~800 miles without a hitch. The furthest I drove my V8 Z was 200 miles round trip because the gearing was too short for the freeway.
  4. Wasn't this one selling on ebay for 15k a few months ago http://tokyo.craigslist.org/car/216961733.html
  5. Thanks for the info. BTW, the link you posted is mispelled. Here's the correct link. http://www.williamsautobody.net/
  6. Looking good. You're gonna be grinning ear to ear when that baby is done. I'm hoping to start my rebuild soon. Did you get the Ross pistons from Summit? I'll be shopping a round for pistons soon.
  7. That's correct. Heres the link. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/7AD1/50-1401
  8. Cool, I'll check out one of those spots. Maybe capitol grill after I check out the galleria. My mouth is starting to water just thinking about a good steak
  9. Whats there to do in Houston on Friday night . I'll be there Thursday night through Saturday morning. Any good steakhouses I should hit up?
  10. Looks like you need flares to blend with that piece. I have a 2 piece version of that g-nose and airdam that doesn't flare out. Just need to patch it up a little before it goes on. Those look decent though. If I didn't have one already, I would consider going through them for a g-nose.
  11. The small radius would definately be more dramatic but If you go 1/2 small radius 1/2 blended, I'm thinking it would look better with it blended in the front and small radius in the back. Just my opinion. It would look good either blended all the way or small radius all the way though.
  12. Nice g-nose. I have the same g-nose and front spoiler waiting to be installed. I agree with the comments about the tailights and the wheels. Get those sorted out and the car will look 10x better
  13. 6k is a decent budget for a motor build up. RB swap would put you over your budget so V8 or turbo L28 would be the way to go for big power. You could price out a SR20det swap but I think it would be pushing 6k.
  14. For the rods, try looking for a '73 engine for sale in your area and pull the rods yourself. Or you can try and find a '73 parts car, pull the engine then re-sell the shell.
  15. Why not get in on the group buy for the power brute LSDs?
  16. Mike, can you test the BRE wing in conjunction with the vortex generators. I've been wanting to test that out for a while now but never got to it. It may put a few questions to rest since it always comes up in aero discussions.
  17. How do the Clevite tri-metals compare to Togas? No difference?
  18. The rods you are looking for are out of a '73 240Z. They're a little bit tricky to find since they were only made for one year (they may have also been in the early 260Zs). I'm looking at buying a '73 parts car this week just to get the rods. About the Z31 setup, there's a sticky in the turbo section that will probably answer alot of your questions. I agree that the L28et bottom ends are really tough. I may go with forged pistons on my next build but it's mainly because I want to raise the compression ratio a little.
  19. Well at least you know the limits now. Good info for future builders. Now get those vids up
  20. Same car that was for sale last month and as noted before, it's a 260 not a 240.
  21. Just saw that a minute ago and came here to see if anyone else caught it. What an idiot
  22. Nics vid Ulises. I could hear your missed shift on our run. I definately need to richen up the fuel a little in the midrange rpms.
