  1. Thanks for the dxf file. I somehow missed it the first time. I'll save it for later use and you will get royalties if I ever have a batch made up.
  2. Just wondering if the 240Z and 280ZX clutch master cylinders are interchangable. My local Kragen has the ZX part in stock. 240Z part has to be ordered. I'd rather pick up the one in stock if it can be used. TIA.
  3. Yeah, thats where I got the pics from. I saved it because I have some 16" RS-8s I wanted to use with Kodiak barrels like he did.
  4. Retard the timing too. Your turbo and exhaust system may not like it though
  5. I understand that the fidanza flywheel can use both the 225mm and 240mm clutch. I measured the friction surface on my used one and it was about 9-1/8" which is 232mm. Is this the correct size for the L28 flywheel?
  6. I love the look of this car. Definately looks like it means business. Great job.
  7. What a brutal crash for Kubica. I can't believe he only got a sprained ankle out of it. I thought for sure he was seriously hurt. That was a pretty entertaining race. A little bit of everything. Sato passing Alonso was sweet.
  8. So the SR20det flywheel has 8 holes? I guess this one is for the L series only.
  9. Without looking at the manual I would think that the negative coil would work. Try it out and see if you get a rpm signal. Mine is interfaced with SDS so it's different.
  10. It's always good to move on to new challenges but it will be sad to see such a nice setup disassembled. Especially after you just finished the new IC setup. Speaking of which, I'm interested in buying it
  11. I wish I could afford to send out free research material . I'll try contacting fidanza directly to try and get an answer.
  12. I bought a Fidanza flywheel off ebay a while back that was supposedly for a L-series engine. The part number on the box is 143221 which is for a SR20DET but it also says L28 on it. Does anyone know if this flywheel is interchangable between the two engines? I'd like to know what the deal is since I may be selling it soon.
  13. Nice work wheelman. Would a PDK strut bar be sufficient?
  14. Has anyone else seen this. Apparently they are making 3 of these based off the new 599 GTB.
  15. I don't have any hard data but just from observation, the same side inlet / outlet will be the most efficient due to the shorter pipping distance. The difference between the other two I think would be negligable since like you said, the turbo sits under the intake manifold. You could always wrap the pipe and the turbo to negate the heat transfer.
  16. Way to go Phil. Nothing like getting in some tuning on a donut run . Looking forward to more entertaining videos. Interesting problem on the coil. I guess coil packs are the way top go for high boost.
  17. Aux I'm in the same boat as you. One wheel spins the other does not move at all but it drives fine. Haven't had a chance to open it up yet to see whats going on but I suspect I'll be neeing new clutches too.
  18. Good luck and congratulations Cyrus. I'm expecting my first in September.
  19. I have a 16x8 RS-8 but its +38mm. If you can get a hold of a spacer you can test fit it. No tires mounted though. I'm just down the street from zcar garage. I'm selling the set BTW.
