  1. Yes. About 3 or 4 IIRC. The only one that comes to mind, is chelle. I know that there are a few more, but I can't remember them.....they have never posted a whole bunch.
  2. This should be posted in the for sale section.
  3. Some more pics: Started cleaning up the engine, and finished putting all the trim and interior in. Fully operational and on the road now: At some point I will pull the heads, intake and exhaust and paint them too. I used the same color as the body. I was going to use the correct green color, but decided on something a little different. Here is the engine before: And after a few hours with the wire wheel and sandpaper and lots of elbow grease:
  4. Funny you should post that site: http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventthumbs?event=01Y800I101&start=240&ts=1169091496 #27 is me (Blue suit/helmet and black Kart): http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventorder?photo=01Y800I1010244&start=0&album=0&adjust=-1 http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventthumbs?event=01Y800I105&b=0&t=-1&start=0&password= and # 7 is my yung'in I've seen kart tires pop off the bead....no fun, esp. since they tend to do it at max G load.
  5. I had all the chrome on my 55 done here in CA (Verne's) and it cost $1000.00 That was for a lot of chrome: front bumper: 6 pieces trim under the headlamps: 2 pieces hood leading edge trim: 1 piece Headlight trim rings: 2 pieces Hood wings: 1 piece Rear Bumper: 3 pieces As you can see, a lot of chrome to do, and the pieces were not in good shape to begin with.
  6. 1000 Nm is 737 ft lbs. Here is a nice conversion site: http://online.unitconverterpro.com/
  7. That was the case. Kinda confused me too, but I figured that maybe because the 1.8T can raise 6 inches higher and weighs 10 pounds less, that they are more desirable, hence more expensive? That's the only thing I can think of......
  8. Just received this a couple of days ago and am using it today. It is great for working on the car in the garage where there is little room to swing the arm of a regular jack. This thing is fantastic!! Arcan 2.2 Ton Air Jack
  9. I merged all the seperate threads on the same issue. Please don't create threads for the same problem several times in several forums.
  10. Yup, I agree Although, FogHorn has always made me chuckle!!

  18. I took a while, but I finally got some work done over the Xmas break. Still a few minor things to do, but she is pretty much all there now: Tim

  20. I have a cheapo Harbor Freight chop saw and it cuts perfectly straight!!, even when cutting at something other than 90*. I don't baby the blade either. Once it gets a bite into the metal, I lay into it! Tim
