  4. After driving with Mike in his Auto LS1 Z, I decided that the auto is nicer than the manual. Depeding on how and where you plan to drive the car, auto may be more practical. My T56 is nice and all, but my next buildup (whatever that may be) will be auto. My daily driver is a Z28 (LT1-T56), and it is a PITA in traffic (a fact of life in SoCal) Tim

  16. I don't think it's fair to blame the inspection station for the problems. I actually think it was REALLY nice of them to assist you the way they did...... All the problems that you had appear to be normal conversion 'teething problems' and bugs..... Hope it all come together soon!! Tim

Jon, Although I'm not on your nomination list, here is a possible method: Using a cutting wheel, carefully cut through the top sheetmetal (floor) exposing the 'framerail' beneath, between the spot welds. Then weld the newly cut slit. That will tie the framerail beneath to the two side of the 'slit' above ensuring that everything is tied together....... Tim

  19. I fixed the pics posting Looks great......exactly what I planned to do, so it must be a great idea!! I just left the inspection lids as my scope creep had gotten out of control....
