2+2 T5 = Coupe T5 - identical!! The regular NA Speed is generally known as the "B" series tranny and will handle lots of power (400hp easy, I believe Sustin 240hoke had one in his heavily mod'd L28Turbo), just watch those powershifts and clutch dumps and drag racing situations. All '78 cars should be 5speed. I am surprised its a 4speed car, what is the date of manufacture of your car? 5th like any Japanese car will be right opposite Reverse. Funny but so true... The best way to pull the motor would have been to take the hood off and take it out from the front. These cars are unibodys and supporting the enitr weight of the car has to be VERY carefully, typically..cross member in the front or under the control arms where they bolt to the frame of the car on under the rear diff. Congrats Austin. A new car is always exciting, just driving it and getting to know the ins and outs of it, much less the future perforamance plans that you have for it. So your car has the Xenon headlights as well correct? I have been looking at E36 and E46 M3 BMWs. Most of the E36s are really getting neglected and tired and many are at 10 or more years old and most owners have given up on maintaining them. The E36 M3 was not as quick as I had hoped either, but a beautiful car to look at, sit in and go around corners. The E46 M3s '00-'03 have had multiple issues with cam failure and rod bearing failure which BMW have yet to own up to, but have replaced many motors under warranty, so I backed away. Anyway congrats again on your new purchase! Yasin

I am sure your Z is not a daily driver, if it is the Corbeau A4s will wear you out on a long trip as the padding is minimal and really they are light weight racing seats. If you are bombing around town, heading to the track, car show or sunday drive, great seats, even if you are taking the wife girlfriend to dinner and a movie on an evening out, they rock, but daily use not so good. It also depends on how stiff your car's suspension is too <- this is big. I have had A4s on three different cars, currently I have a set in my daily driver Turbo Mazda 323 and also in my seldom driven 280ZX Turbo. The seats are starting to come apart on the bolster stitching on my daily driver and they have not lasted as well as I thought as they would, I bought these seats two and half years ago (all bought brand new) and they have about 15,000miles on them. I am disappointed to be honest as they are starting to age, faster that I would like, again this is on my daily driver. I am 6.0ft tall and weight 160ish lbs, so I am not really brushing up hard on the bolsters during ingress and egress. The A4s in my 280ZX Turbo look fantastic, as they should, they are about 4years old and have only about 1,000 miles of seat time in those 4years. I have the standard cloth fabric and they are very tricky to keep clean, especially if you have a pet or dust strands get in there. Using a lint brush or tape does not work, good ole fashioned by hand. I called Corbeau and they only offer a 1year warranty on their seats, so thats is unfortunate but probably standard for this type of product. I will be interested to hear your feedback on that new miscrosuede (I did not even realize that is a new fabric option from Corbeau) and how it wears in time. I am not sure how much you drive your car per year. I was going to post some pics, but do not want to hijack your thread. Looks great and compliments the car for sure! As a reference on my S30, I will be installing Mitsubishi Eclipse seats. My best - Yasin

I drove my beloved 280ZX Turbo one complete Colorado winter that I owned the car (in 7years) and I agree with everyone here especially Ron's comments. My very worst experience in this car was letting the laws of physics decide which curb the car was going to hit and how many times early one VERY cold and icy winter morning. I basically went along for the ride and white knuckled the whole time, not a healthy thing for my heart, frame of mind or a good way to start the day! Damaged wheel, damaged tire and suspension pieces I limped home "very humbled". Studded tires are horrible when dry and I do prefer studless. On ice, take your time, slow down and let all the SUVs, Pickups and Subaru Audi owners pass you. I ran with great success the Toyo Observes in my old and VERY tail happy Toyota Corolla GT-S AE86 (supercharged) and currently run Hankook iPikes in my Turbo Mazda 323. These iPikes are VERY inexpensive with impressive performance - worth taking a look. Good luck - Yasin
