  1. http://energysuspension.com/pages/mt_tr1.html Heres the link to the mount. the one you want is #3.1108 .
  2. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=2126Heres a wiring diagram for a 73, it should be the same for a 74. Hope it helps.
  3. Just an update guys, I called Ksport and they don't recommend that there hand brake be used as a parking brake. The guys said that it would "bleed over time".
  4. I guess it has a internal leak. Tim240z has or had a similar setup in his car ran away from him as well. It just happend to me and it would have been cheaper to buy the brake setup than to pay for the dam body and paint repairs. Man, my car is possessed!!!!
  5. You know I was VERY interested in this setup, but changed my mind when I couldn't find any info of it's actaul physical hight ( w/aircleaner ). Our Z's have very limited hood space, and I didn't want to cut a hole in my hood.
  6. ya, that would be a consern as well. I have a hydrolic line lock in my car and it loses it's pressure after only a few minutes! That's why I'm interested in a mechanical setup.
  7. I was looking for just this setup! But I had concern's about the rear calipers seals, could they hold the pressure required for the extended length of time ( weeks)?
  8. I usually try to stay out of threads like this, but I'm with Jon on this one! Is anyone on this thread a structural engineer? Have you even attempted to make/manufacture such a part from scatch? I sure haven't. I think it's great that SOMEONE has come up with new parts for our 30 plus year old car's! Compared to the stock LCR's that have years of abuse, damage and rust on them, I think I'll trust these over built unit's to the stocker's.
  9. You the man Roostmonkey!!!!!!! They look GREAT!!!!! It's too bad I already made my own:( Otherwise I would have loved to buy one.
  10. Marc Poole, Your right the 240 -280z didn't come with power steering. Does the car have all the hydrolic lines hooked up to a Power steering pump? If they are then I would suggest to grind out the inside diamemeter of the new bushings to fit the PS rack. I used a dremel tool with a mini sanding drum on it. It took me quite a bit of time to do it but it's possable. It doesn't need to be a perfect fit. Actually thats what I did to install my Subaru Rack in my 24o. I think that's the easiest , cheapest way. Good luck.
  11. Here you go.http://www.arizonazcar.com/ http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/default.php
  12. I too generaly attend the Long Beach event. I'll see If I can drop by. Oh congrats on the oppertunity! I wish I was in your shoes!
  13. WOW !!! Very nicelly done. SOOO much cleaner than my install. Got any more pictures? How do you like the steering? Have you autocrossed it yet? Give us your take on the feel?
  14. Well ,now you have an excuse to make the ron tyler mount ! Geesh!!! what torque you have!!!! Oh one more thing, now we know that the R200 can take a beating.
  15. Oh ya bartman, I got it back about a month and half ago! I just gave it it's 2nd maiden voyage this past weekend. It was great! I forgot just how much power the Z had!
  16. Thanks Ron, You know I hate to admit it but I have now 1200 miles on this car, and the more I drive it, the less I'm driving the Z! This car is REALLY fun to drive! But I'll NEVER sell my Z, I put too much blood , sweat and tears into it. They'll have to burry me in it!
  17.  Daaaaaaammm!!! is all I can say! Welcome aboard.
  18. Try searching for "S&S headers" . I seem to remeber a place called sachs hotrod shop that sells them cheaper then going directly with S&S.
  19. I'm so glad to here the stories about how reliable honda's are. That makes me feel so much better that I spent so much on a new one:icon44: I got 100k mile/7 year warrenty with it:burnout: I think I'll be taking it out to willow springs just to see what she'll really do.
  20. Hey MusPuppis, here are the pix. Thanks guys.
  21. Well it's not Full leather. The seat's have cloth center's and leather bolsters wth red stitching. It's pretty understated. The seats feel just like my SRD recaros in my Z:wink:
  22. Thanks for not flaming me! Ya, it does have the K20 engine, and with a 9 k redline! Hp rating is 197. Not much torque down low, but past 5500 rpm Vtec kicks in.
  23. Like the title says after not buying a car for myself since "86" I got myself a new, Black 2007 HONDA civic Si. O.k. guys let the flaming begin:icon54: But i do have to say, this thing can handle! and the power is not that bad. It actually feels alot like my Z, just low on power.
  24. I had the holley, and changed to the mallery. Best money I spent. Nice and quiet. yet not too quiet, to let you know it's on. Just a small hum.
