  1. Sorry about that. I'm looking for the ones below. They are for the Z31 turbo axles. http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_53&products_id=56 http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_53&products_id=46
  2. I just purchased a set of the MM 240SX caliper brackets, item number 2. I'm still looking for the other parts. Send me a PM if you have these parts available.
  3. Does there appear to be any engine damage, the car took alot of damage to the front. It appears to be a very new car since it has no plates.
  4. Now that you showed us the rust, can you show us the car? Looks like a decent deal for a parts car. What does it look like in the engine bay?
  5. 1) From a previous thread: I'm looking to buy a set of these (the 27 spline 280Z companion flange type) http://www.modern-motorsports.com/ca...products_id=56 or these http://www.modern-motorsports.com/ca...products_id=46 2) A set of rear Modern Motorsports 240SX caliper brackets. 3) A set of front spacers for the Toyota caliper upgrade using 280Z hubs. 4) A JSK or Pallnet 11mm fuel rail for Supra type injectors PM me if you have any of these parts available. Let me know the condition, price and shipping (if not local in Southern CA). Thanks.
  6. I see what you mean about the muffler. The car sounds badass but it is loud as hell...lol. Congrats though, looking good.
  7. Any help identifying them will be helpful since they will be up for sale. I need to check to see if there is any part numbers stamped on them. Thanks.
  8. I purchased these from some guy that stated that they were for a Z. They don't look like they fit a 240Z, which I have. Can anyone identify what car they are for? The front bar is 1 3/8 inches diameter and about 46.5 inches in width. The rear bar is 42 inches at the widest point and 38.5 inches wide at the ends. They are possibly Suspension Techniques since there is a paper sticker on the front bar. Any ideas? Thanks. http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo211/hybrid240z/Parts/IMG_0199.jpg?t=1230794272 http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo211/hybrid240z/Parts/IMG_0201.jpg?t=1230794402
  9. Here is what an old 1986 copryight (that is how it was spelled in the book LOL) Chilton Datsun/Nissan Z and ZX 1970-86 book states. 1970-72: 115-130 ft. lbs. 1973: 87-116 1974: 94-108 1975-83: 94-108 (with the note below) 1977-78: 87-116; 1979-82: 101-116 It didn't mention anything different for turbo models. Hope this helps.
  10. Aw Davy, that's messed up...but so true. Best wishes to all the HybriderZ out there, Merry X-mas and Happy New Year.
  11. The 280ZX N/A I used to own would also not go over about 3k rpm after I would wash the engine until it would dry out.
  12. That is an amazing paint job. Looks wet and smooth as glass. A girl at work had a bad break in her leg and they used like 8-12 screws and a plate or two to set it. It's amazing what doctors can do these days. Hope your leg heals soon so you can get that Z running. Congrats on the paint job...and time off. LOL
  13. That is an amazing collection and awesome garage. I wonder if he picked up a new GTR.
  14. Try using PB Blaster: http://blasterchemical.com/display.cfm?p=50003&pid=4 I use it all the time and it seems to be the best penetrating fluid out there. Good luck.
  15. I live by Amsoil too. I run it in all my cars and will run it in my Z once I get it running. Check out their website. http://www.amsoil.com
  16. Did you move out to Jalisco or are you just visiting? My parents are from Zacatecas. What do the locals think about your high horsepower Z. Awesome car by the way.
  17. Looking good. Nice find on the airdam.
  18. I should've posted this yesterday, but I've been sick. Here is your fix: http://www.artsautomotive.com/HondaOilPan.htm It is an extremely cheap fix, if you have access to a welder. I did this to my brother-in-law's Integra. I doubt it will ever get stripped again. You can probably thin the nut down if you are worried about oil drainage.
  19. I agree...Awesome. Congrats, looks great...more pics please.
  20. My Z had a triple SK carb/2.8/E88/5-speed(78)/4.11 setup when I bought it. All it needed was a rebuild really, too much blow-by, but I wanted to go turbo so I parted the drivetrain. I would've liked to keep that setup and have a second Z with a turbo engine but not enough space and too many cars. My Z hasn't ran for a couple of years now, too many things going on. House, kids, family, etc... I should've waited to part the drivetrain though, I miss driving my Z. Chris' new Z brings back memories. Nice find, looks pretty well setup with the seats, wheels, engine, flares...
  21. Sorry that you don't have the room for it and have to sell it. I'll be over there tomorrow and give you $510 just for your trouble. Just messing, but that is a killer deal. Tell the whole story. Old guy selling it, widow, why were they selling it??? Good find.
  22. That is an awesome looking Z and a really good deal. I would not have passed that deal up either...even though I already have my 71 in the garage and a 78 parts car in the driveway LOL. It's an addiction I tell you.
  23. I found this today on Craigslist. No mine, just a heads up in case anyone is interested. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/pts/583353057.html
  24. I think a big reason the 2-hour premier was not too great was because they were building character profiles and the story of the show. I am waiting for the regular 1-hour shows to see if the show is good. The show does look a little cheesy but the original one was too...LOL I am not a big fan of Fords but this new Shelby sounds badass and look decent.
