you guys need to rig up a automatic brake bleader!!!. First you need a vacum pump and you run a line to the top of quart glass jar with the lid sealed. THen you have 4 other long vacuum lines and you hook them up to the 4 nipples on the brakes. and you flip on the vacuum pump with the bleeders open and just make sure you keep the resivors full

If you get the V3.57 board with megasquirt it has all the issues with noise that the 3.0 board has fixed. I did a few mods to my board this week and i must say my car is running amazing. so i wouldnt knock MS at all.

Ok I just googled it. It comes in sheets but it doesnt look like you can cut it. Would you just print in the midle of it and wrap it and tuck the extra behind the guage?

Possibly bigger intercooler pipping. im running the he351cw turbo and i say its a very very very good match for a stock set up Im running it at 21psi right now and its performing very well. Im not sure how much more it has in it though. If i was to build a forged bottom end i think i would want to look at a different turbo. I might stay with the holsets but would go with an hx35/40 series turbo just because you can get them cheap. your injectors will probably get you to around 400hp but not over. If you spend the money on the rebello engine I think it should be able to handle well overr 500rwhp. Some people say the exhause manifold doesnt flow enough even ported. If your interested i have an BAE turbo manifold which will flow way beyond a ported stock manifold. Just pm me if your interested. Other than that i would say your on the right track. Its just what your going to put behind that engine thats going to be able to withstand that much power

hey Proxlamus can you use the pda to actually reload the software onto your MS or is it just a tune thing?

Im sorry im not trying to be mean to you. Its just this site was started for people who are beyond needing to know what to look for. More of a College course on z cars and not High school class if that makes sense. Its not just you. There was a guy asking how to change his belts on his z earlier. Thats just something you should know when coming on this site. Kinda like knowing algerba2 before you go into college. I feel that knowing where these cars rust and stuff like that would fall in the same area. I mean no disrespect to you at all. Ive just been frustrated with alot of "newb" questions lately

This site is not for "What to look for when buying a car" or "how to change a alternator belt" Its about performance and modification. not about regular maintence. Im not trying to be mean to the Origional poster but this site has seen alot of posts lately from first time people asking stuff that should be learned else ware before coming here. You can hook any laptop with bluetooth up to it. On the V3.0 board they added +5volts to pin 9 on on the db9 for this very reason. If your PDA has bluetooth i dont see why it wouldnt connect to it either

Ok I did a mod that got my voltage to be compleatly flat!!! It is spectacular. I did a 8 min data log and my voltage only went up and down .7 volts. I suggest this mod to EVERONE. Its amazing how steady my voltage is.

As far as needing a laptop in order to use bluetooth thats not true. There is db9 bluetooth adapters that will plug right onto the db9 to connect any bluetooth device to it.

Ive talked to the guy who made the post on MSEXTRA.com Its R37 and R38 You can jumper them if your running High z or resistors.

We are talking about something different. ive read on the MS forums to short out some resistors on the board to give the injectors full current. but im not sure which ones they are.

Well I may of fixed it. Havent driven it that much yet but i drove it around the block with no resets. Normally it would of resetted like 30 times in that situation. What i did was this Since it is a MS1( the 40 pin CPU) you may be able to improve the disturbance margin by adding some capacitors on to the CPU socket legs as close as possible . Capacitor should be mylar or cermic, 0,1µf =>10 V and have lead module 2,5 or 5 mm. Add caps as follows: Pin 1 to Pin 2 Pin 6 to pin 2 Pin 19 to pin 20 EDIT by mobythevan, this last cap should be between 31 and 32, this has been verified I got that from a post on msextra.com. Has anybody ever heard of shorting out the power resistors for running High Z injectors? I think i want to try this also. Well ill keep ya posted

Why is it that dangerous. No its not a speed anything but it would be fine for crusing. I lived in daytona beach for 6 years and there is a bunch of bugs that are converted like this. Why is it any different?
