  1. Look at http://www.atlanticz.ca And then go to tech tips and the to the electrical section. there should be a large wiring diagram for the 260z. Good luck.
  2. I would get it and run it till it dies. Hell it may not die on you and may make the power your looking for. Doesnt look like horrible turbo.
  3. Geeezzz what is the inducer on that turbo? it looks like the inducer is about the size of my whole turbo.
  4. He likes the auto??? does he want girls to think he is gay?? lol jk jk. Teach him to drive stick and make him drive one. It makes you pay more attention to what your doing and leaves less time for talking on the cell or texting on the cell and whatnot.
  5. Yes keep the bumpers. That way if he pulls a little to far forward into a parking spot that has a poll or wall infront of it it will just hit the bumper and not the hood. And nice score. Swap it to a Manual and let your son have fun restoring it with you
  6. Im looking at getting it cause my cowl is trashed. And i like the idea of being able to make my own vent pattern.
  7. thats very nice info to have. thanks for posting it.
  8. :cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:
  9. HAHAHAHAAHa this stuff is great guys. Keep it coming
  10. Mighty Vac's are childs play. Im talking about an electric vacuum pump that you just plug in. lol. The first shop i worked at that had one of these it was actually an old embalming pump that was used to suck the blood out of cadavers. Kinda gross but you get over it once you find out how much time it saves you on doing brake fluid flushes.
  11. What ever happened to getting 2 I5 oil pans and grafting those together to make a rear sump? are those as deep as the I6 one?
  12. Hey could you take a picture of what it looks like under the engine while its in the car. Im curious to what its hitting.
  13. Tecnically this is a 350z forum. Its just that the majority isnt 350z related.
  14. Im not sure thats waht he is asking. It might be a returnless style system. Im not sure though. So ill let someone else answere that.
  15. you guys need to rig up a automatic brake bleader!!!. First you need a vacum pump and you run a line to the top of quart glass jar with the lid sealed. THen you have 4 other long vacuum lines and you hook them up to the 4 nipples on the brakes. and you flip on the vacuum pump with the bleeders open and just make sure you keep the resivors full
  16. If you get the V3.57 board with megasquirt it has all the issues with noise that the 3.0 board has fixed. I did a few mods to my board this week and i must say my car is running amazing. so i wouldnt knock MS at all.
  17. Good to see that its getting back on the road. I wish i was still around to see you run it down the track. Good luck when you do. Think you will make it to DNI this spring?
  18. Ok I just googled it. It comes in sheets but it doesnt look like you can cut it. Would you just print in the midle of it and wrap it and tuck the extra behind the guage?
  19. Possibly bigger intercooler pipping. im running the he351cw turbo and i say its a very very very good match for a stock set up Im running it at 21psi right now and its performing very well. Im not sure how much more it has in it though. If i was to build a forged bottom end i think i would want to look at a different turbo. I might stay with the holsets but would go with an hx35/40 series turbo just because you can get them cheap. your injectors will probably get you to around 400hp but not over. If you spend the money on the rebello engine I think it should be able to handle well overr 500rwhp. Some people say the exhause manifold doesnt flow enough even ported. If your interested i have an BAE turbo manifold which will flow way beyond a ported stock manifold. Just pm me if your interested. Other than that i would say your on the right track. Its just what your going to put behind that engine thats going to be able to withstand that much power
  20. hey Proxlamus can you use the pda to actually reload the software onto your MS or is it just a tune thing?
  21. Im sorry im not trying to be mean to you. Its just this site was started for people who are beyond needing to know what to look for. More of a College course on z cars and not High school class if that makes sense. Its not just you. There was a guy asking how to change his belts on his z earlier. Thats just something you should know when coming on this site. Kinda like knowing algerba2 before you go into college. I feel that knowing where these cars rust and stuff like that would fall in the same area. I mean no disrespect to you at all. Ive just been frustrated with alot of "newb" questions lately
  22. Thank you 240z!!! you are a new member and i think you get it. This site is not for "What to look for when buying a car" or "how to change a alternator belt" Its about performance and modification. not about regular maintence. Im not trying to be mean to the Origional poster but this site has seen alot of posts lately from first time people asking stuff that should be learned else ware before coming here. Sites that are great at this are www.zhome.com www.zcar.com among alot of other sites.
