  1. The flange is what the v0band clamp puts the load on to keep it together. you weaken that its going to break when you put the v-band clamp back on. Im sorry but i think your really harming your turbo. Maybe you should take it to a shop to have it taken apart.
  2. dude... you cant cut that thing. yourit has to match up perfect. if its cockied when you put it back on the fan blades will hit..
  3. Flip my intercooler pipe around? Why would i do that? so it makes it longer?? What would that serve?
  4. Man KTM i hate to say it but you have been going through alot lately... ive been lucky and mine has stayed together for the past month and half or so. Before that it was horrible though. Blew a motor, turbo, transmission, and rear end. all in a little over a month. But im loving my new set up and i cant be happier running 16psi on the holset. Totally makes all the work worth while
  5. I was at the lake once and a semi pulled up pulling a single stand up jet-ski. lol 2 guys can pick one of those up and put it in the back of a truck lol
  6. should work. Both are 240mm if im not mistaken.
  7. if that doesnt work out ray i have a stock t3 localy id sell ya for 75 i just put a rebuild kit in it probably 3k before i pulled it off
  8. first of all switch to PB blaster. Then use lots of heat ie propane torch i used a rubber mallet and then just started tapping it but making sure you keep it square. so you dont bend the blades.
  9. lol Those rims are just made to suck the air out from under the car. they just need to be put on the other side.
  10. Looks good but your rims are on backwards
  11. Any body know if doing the subaru power steering swap makes it have a tighter turning radius?
  12. You are building an extra one for me Right?? lol You know im gonna find another z and want to build a nice NA motor!!! lol
  13. I know this is the wind tunnel section but if i had that to put on my car i doubt i would care to much if it worked or not lol
  14. I think thats about as short as you can get with intercooler pipping. The one thing that i have on my set that im not to happy with is i have my iat sensor actually threaded into the manifold so im not sure how accurate it is... i want to take the piping back off and take it to my welder to have him weld in a iat bung right before the tb. Im also thinking that i should lower my intercooler to get it into more fresh air or i need to ad some ducting to get the air to the intercooler better. what do you think?
  15. mine is over 2 feet away from my injectors. you should be fine.
  16. Im running 13-14psi right now and im planning on upping it to around 16 tomorrow. and see how that goes. i really need to do some ducting to my intercooler though im getting some heat soak and my intake temps are getting into the 150's and 160's by the time i hit redline in 4th gear..
  17. thanks. I was curious because i have basically the same set up. Well stock engine but you can see my specs below. what injectors are you running?
  18. Get the zuma. Get the bore and stroke kit for it to like something like 82cc slap an aftermarket expansion chamber on it from vance and hines, along with an after market cdi box that will raise the rev limiter to like 13k and you have a moped that goes 85ish mph and still gets like 75-80mpg and it can pull wheelies
  19. cool video. But how in the world do you keep things straight working with that many people lol. looked like you had 4 guys on that engine bay at one point. That would drive me nuts. LOL I would have to double check every bodies work so it would end up taking longer than if i did it myself. lol
  20. Looks good but i was curious about the defrost function. Im wanting to swap in the whole dash with the heater/A/c intact. i havent seen anybody do that one yet. Any thoughts?
  21. Looks good but i have one suggestion. Make your radiator hose go around your intercooler piping instead of the intercooler piping going around your raciator hose. Looks like you have about an extra 1.5 feet of tubing due to that bend there. I also think it would clean the look up some..
  22. motorcycle carbs are easy to balance. you just need to have two sets of mercury sticks so you have enough but other than that it would be easy. you have to balance motorcycles all the time. and they ahve had 6 cylinder motorcycles actually i think honda had an inline 6 cyl. turbo actually..
  23. Cool, My he351cw is smoking and i am gonna throw a rebuild kit into it.
  24. Hey 78280z hows the planning coming? I dont know if we ever came up with a primary size. I think the size you said would work well. Tony said that was the smallest restriction on the Euro manifold but that is on a log style. where more than one exhaust port is going through that passage. I think that if they all have there own passage that the size will allow more than enough flow for any of our pipe dreams.
