Try disconnecting the wastegate linkage and moving the arm on the turbo by hand. It should move freely. I had one that was stuck open and didnt move freely. on a spare engine i bought once. If it was stuck open it would take a long time for the boost to build.

On the rubber insert i would suggest getting some off of a known vehicle and molding the console to fit. My 03 Frontier has them. Its nice to be able to pull them out and wash them out in the sink when they get nasty. Having a OEM molded piece fit into the console will make it look more finished also.

How much is a good set worth to you. Just dissembled my suspension and found out I have these. I may part with them for the right price.

They dont list a mid year break for the 260Z. Having an early 260 should i just order the 240Z kit? What are your thoughts?

Turns out the map sensor was bad. Went back to a 250k sensor and it works.

I am repairing a v3.0 ms1 that has the solder pads 5 and 6 pulled out of the pcb. I have the whole board working except for the fact that I have no map signal. When I look at the diagram for the v3.0. It shows pins 1,2,and 3 going places. It doesn't show pins 4,5,6 going anywhere and says nc. Which I'm assuming means no current or no connection. But obviously they must go somewhere. I need to know where to jumper pins 5 and 6 to. I'm very capable of doing it I just need some direction. Any help would be appreciated.

Normally I think its rather ridiculous when someone answers a question from a post that is many years old. Not this time. I actually just started working on getting my car back on the road this weekend and this is one thing i was wanting to get resolved as i still had a slight vibration. There was a guy that used the Rota RB's in the 17x9 wheel with 245 or 255's all the way around. I think he posted pictures in the Rota group buy way back in the day. He had to roll the fender lips and stretch the fender a bit but they fit.

My "one trip" statement is based on that was the only trip I took on that setup going on roads where I wasn't going 80-85 mph. The same setup went 12.8 at 110mph in the quarter mile so I'm pretty sure it was running well. Quick question. You state you have the hose off on your FPR. Does the z31 not use a vacuum/boost source to raise/lower the fuel pressure in accordance with pressure?

Ive gotten 29mpg on one trip when i was only driving 70mph. Same trans and diff as you. Much bigger turbo(he351cw) and bigger injectors with supporting mods. Im running MS1extra though. I did get like 5mpg once with all in town "spirited" driving. Had to hear the BOV every time i shifted. lol. It could be a odometer that is off. You could have the wrong color speedo gear on the sender.

Id check out Ram Mounts. They have a ton of products for just this. www.rammounts.com. They arent going to make anything specific but I bet you could get a base to mount somewhere and then get the right arms to get it to where you want.

Does the steel one actually flex? While the steel mustache bar is spring steel and does flex front to back a bit i dont think its going to move up and down down any. Flexing a flat piece of steel width ways isn't the easiest.

DId you bore out the waste gate hole? Been 7-8 years but i remember that i had mine bored out till the flapper just covered it. I think my pinky would barely fit into it stock hole and it was bored out to around 1/2 or 3/4
