  1. The parts guys might be looking up the seals for the r180. Tell them to get the seals for a 84-89 300zx z31 that way their is no way to get it mixed up.
  2. Ya your guys timing tables are very mild. I was running 19 on 23lbs of boost. on 93 octane.
  3. Its worth your money to buy something big enough to handle your power goals in the future. I ended up buying three clutches for my set up because i kept buying a heavy duty enough one to just handle what i was running currently. I finally just broke down and bought an act 6 puck with hd pp. well worth the money

  10. hey jeff. Im not sure when they passed that law but LKQ took my 280zx parts car with out a title.
  11. Big-phil sprayed his black paint on he didnt roll it. I rolled my old paint on not sure who else did it.
  12. Very likely that you have the wrong throw out collar on. Might be long and its making the bearing ride the clutch all the time.

  14. Picked up 2 turbo motors today. Hopefully they will get me back in the game pretty quick. Ill be back to messing with the boost controller soon hopefully.
  15. My car has been down for the past few months and had been driving it around for a few months with said blown motor so i wasnt tunning any. Its all doable its just going to take a lot of time to get it set correctly. One thing i noticed is i could get it to hit my boost targets in one gear and then if i did it in another gear it would either not hit them or would spike like crazy.
  16. If/when i do it again i honestly could care less how the drivetrain is. I care about one thing and one thing only RUST and how straight the body is. If he has been driving this car for a while with bondo primer showing and its been his daily that means that it has seen rain. Your going to need to strip the whole car of all the bondo that saw water. Stock engines are cheap for these cars. Its the rust removal and repainting that is expensive.
  17. Same way as when they are out of the car..... 2 screw drivers or a prybar or something similar.
  18. Either go to autozone and get some carb soak and just drop the whole carb in or try some of the eagle one etching wheel cleaner for cast wheels. It amazes me how nice old aluminum looks after you do this.
  19. No your looking at it correctly. I just want to make sure you get the right one you need. I just thought i remembered pulling this out of a tranny with a 3.36 behind it is all.
  20. I have one but are you sure that the 19t cog is for that because i was pretty sure it was the one that came out of my stock tranny when i had a 3.36 rear end.

  23. MM is a very respected company in the z car community. I have some of his stuff on my car. Its not a fly by night company and has been around for a while. You wont get ripped off ordering from the website.
  24. I believe the turbo bolts have a shoulder on them before the head on the bolt IIRC.
