  1. Did you put the springs on backwards, i.e. Fronts in the rear?
  2. The Z is back at my house!! Still need to go back over the MS harness, it needs some tidying up. Another video before I left the shop: My GHETTO spacer for my Boost gauge haha I promise it's not permanent, I stuffed a shop towel in there so it wouldn't move around on the way home. Find my Megasquirt switch and win a prize: [My rear defogger doesn't work, so I have it running through the stock switch.]
  3. That's the RIPSZ... He posts on here occasionally and has several threads on the car. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=146894&highlight=RIPS http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=146466&highlight=RIPS http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=145792&highlight=RIPS
  4. Well, I have a 1978 280Z with a N/A L28 [With a 1981 N/A L28 and terbeaux parts] Do I count?
  5. Errr tuned and cammed LS1 cars? Maybe... not haha Arkansas' first home game is tomorrow, which takes top priority. Geaux Razorbacks!! We're playing Georgia. I'll probably leave early and wrap everything up so I can get the car back to Fayetteville.
  6. I'm *pretty* sure the car is ready to be taken off stands and the tuning process can begin. The Relay Board's Fuel Pump Relay had broken solder points which was causing my problem. I re-soldered it tonight and now it's working perfectly. Can't wait to get the maps tuned up and start driving her again.
  7. Pulled the relay board out of its case and two solder joints were broken on the fuel pump relay I re-soldered several of the questionable joints as well, hooked it up to a car battery and... voila! 12.9 Volts to the fuel pump for two seconds when switched on!! It's Friday night, I have plans, but since I'm a car geek I'll probably run out to the shop to see if she'll fire up.
  8. Yes. Go with a T3 or better. Please use your shift key.
  9. Your sentence structure is appalling. IIRC the T3 maxes out around 11 or 12 psi, I doubt the T28 would get to 15.
  10. I reflashed the board, still no spark. Re-flashed it again, still no spark. I pulled the relay board, relay board to ECU harness and ECU with connectors so I can bench test it so I don't have to drive 30 minutes one way to try every little thing. Gettin real tired of all this.....
  11. I'm sure he read something about 0-100km [i.e 62 mph] in under five seconds and his ignorance got the best of him.
  12. I'm going to add that it is very important that you have tools and a place to work on your car if you're going to embark on a project. I'd say for the most part [Well, at least for me] we are into Zs because they are plentiful, cheap, and stay cheap if you work on them yourself. They're no Porsche or Miata, but for what you can do to them, for the money it's a great deal. This is a great car to learn on, it's really simple and this site is great for upgrades and technical advice. I'd never done any modifcations to a car before I got my 280Z. Good luck with this, take your time and do your research before you buy a car. If you do it right and keep the proper mindset than it will be a great for you.
  13. Don't forget "lyrical wordsmith genius."
  14. N/A S130s didn't have a CAS Dizzy, and Terbeaux S130s only had it in 82 and 83. I'm pretty sure this will only work if you swap over to a ZXT harness. But yeah I did the swap on my 1983 Dizzy, I have pictures of the internals in my build thread. http://forums.hybridz.org/showpost.php?p=1058571&postcount=25
  15. Flat Black and Red. Wanting to do satin black or Graphite soon on Flatty
  16. These schnaus berries taste like schnaus berries!!
  17. I think he just wanted everyone to sick his super sweet hair puzzle
  18. We need to gather the NWA Zs together [if mine ever runs >_<] and do a shoot then!
  19. Russ from DIY just got back to me, he suggested re-flashing the firmware before I go through pulling things apart. Seems reasonable because I was changing settings, burning them and then trying to crank her. I'm making a AutoCad drawing of my wiring for my personal reference, I'll post it up later.
  20. FlatBlack

    Hey

Yes, thank you *blank stare* "Seriously, Dude?" Bahaha
  21. FlatBlack

    Hey

Man I couldn't find the one about the 50% off shirt... This will have to do
  22. You mean the ones I picked up for you? heh. Yeah I noticed that, how come I get up a video of my POS Z that will never run while you have no videos of that incredible setup?
  23. You got it, he did the "zenki" swap. It's a late 260Z, he's got the 280Z style rear lights.
