  1. wellll let me throw you off some more with blue again....my old flared 240z Notice the side rockerpanels were painted black with a thin pinstrip above them...looked great to me Also that car had the flares mounted too high...wouldve been fine with coilovers and camber plates, VERY low to the ground but i like where yours are ALOT better (no motor, interior, etc in the car in that pic btw so its reallly high, wasnt that bad when installed).
  2. i know a guy here local that does good stuff....ive never been a fan of garage p/c jobs ive always left it up to the pros and he's pretty cheap only 100-150 for z/zx headers
  3. i prefer the shock and spring/less work approach.... But if i cared about slamming it any lower (its only about 3-4" from the ground up front) i would go coils, but i care more about wheel gap/being flush with the fenders WITHOUT rubbing/rolling/and stretching girly sized tires on wide wheels...kinda defeats the purpose of running a wide wheel when you could run 225's on the stock 14x6s

PM me back or email me at datsundriver88@hotmail.com I have a CF cowl for an s30....they were made stateside btw, allllsooo im pretty sure that was one that has just had the colored lenses taken out (like baked, pulled apart, then baked back together) if the color strips are internal vs being actually colored lenses....alot of people do this to taillights

  7. i too have a full set of the bigger 9mm rods with bolts in great shape, shot peened and ready for install
  8. i only say the rotas because theyre not horribly heavy and come in a good size/offset and most ZX guys are too cheap to ccws, kodiacs, ssrs, etc for 2-4k+ vs some cheap $750 brand new staggered setup with the right offset.

  15. it may be that fancy octopus looking one, that would be veryyyy expensive to make here, not to mention the "japanese secrets" kinda thing going on with it Paul. I think that those parts are best bought from the source and if you see one you would see why. Nevermind...looks like a simple yet very expensive header... Thought he was talking about this one...
  16. 3" is worth the extra money for a shop to make it, and honestly that is a stupid simple downpipe, only issues are the "extras" that you will be adding to it. But if you buy the flange, 02 bung, and head to a mexican muffler shop (like i do for my exhausts) they have donw them for $80-120 for a full 3" exhaust. Hell with 2 nice mufflers, all the hangers, a piece of flexpipe, and custom y pipe it only cost me $200 for the old zx (which is alot more of a pain in the ass than a z).
  17. how badly? i have a hood in good shape and to be honest im just looking for a glass one for a track car so it being perfect isnt much of an issue to me.
  18. a good paint shop could match the paint finish, or you can send me the glass parts and ill send you some good metal ones =)
  19. stop running into stuff man, wife hit some kid turning left and totalled her hyundai thanksgiving week monday, then got a rental tuesday and car was hit on thanksgiving in texas stadium, then hit again the next monday....then my brakes went out on my rental yesterday...not good for cars lately. Sounds like you should put the shop on blast for starting the car with a hole in the pan/no oil in the motor, and that the insurance company needs to take it up with them as it was their shop it was taken to and you never told them to start the car, and that the pan had a hole in it already.

All i am saying is from people i do know that got the products, the pictures posted of the horribly MIG welded A-arms, etc like i said BUYER BEWARE and go look at them before purchasing obviously, and bring a fiberglass/mold guy with you. Like it was said above me up there, molds have a "shelf-life" and if not taken care of are useless, especially for the prices he is asking. On a side note, im sure you will agree that guys you MEET, and do business with RIGHT INFRONT of you, know where they live, live 1/2 hr away, have the ability to go to their house with a baseball bat and bad intentions (if/when they screw you over) tend to treat those people alot different then someone who still paid for parts but lives a few states away, they just write them off. food for thought....but that still isnt anyway to run a business. Most business' dont "make parts to order" because its more expensive that way, Most have them made in BATCHES as in vendors on this forum do and will cut you a deal/make it more worth your while because the supplier/shop/them personally....are making them and will take a lesser percentage because overall they are making more (at once, and not 10% more over a few years, one at a time). And when you are selling things like flares, gnoses, etc etc you normally will have a few laying around/be in the middle of a production run. It has always sounded to me like he made a few runs, suppliers sucked, but still took money on other purchases saying "theyre doing another run" but actually trying to find another shop to do them (either because quality was bad, they were untimely, or he wanted them made cheaper so he could pocket more cash) at anyrate alot of people got screwed. But i still think that he should have enough cash laying around for a set of 5 of whatever it is he is selling, Doesnt look like thats true, and seems like he is parting his car out/selling molds to pay off some debts.

  23. oh im not bashing just stating my opinion since we are in NON TECH and the guy has screwed multiple members, on timelines, taking money upfront, sending them **** products, i could go on....and have plenty of proof, would you like me to post that for you? This is the type of forum for SEARCH-ing, please go SEARCH for his name, Jim Edwards, Paulo, etc these are all useless beings that have proven they dont care about screwing fellow z guys and aparently its been proven since they have been banned/told by mods/etc not to buy from them or BUYER BEWARE based on their pasts. Please prove me wrong, but i/hybridz.org have/has plenty of proof on the matter and you are what...his friend trying to help your buddy out. Be careful who you defend , especially people like those ive mentioned because they have been proven to not be "upstanding" members/sellers over and over.

  25. ps a Unibit would work wonders for you, they got these cool steppy things (looks like a cone) and it just gets the hole bigger and bigger
