Glad you fixed it.
I would stongly suggest you read up on how a points type ignition system works. They are all the same. You will benefit greatly. You will never get stuck by a bad ignition if you understand them!!!

Timing or most probably a VACUUM LEAK. Not vacuum advance.
This is assuming all ran well before swap. I would expect you adjusted the float levels......etc...
Pictures, description of cupping, location on tire, more than 1 tire, front or rear, how many sets of tires, mileage..............................................???????????????????????
Front subframe/crossmember is good, front frame rails, so is the rear subframe.
Take note of your factory jack. The pinch weld/rocker panel is also good. Wood is good, be careful. This is assuming your car is not a total rustbucket.
DO NOT jack on the floor supports.
Length of time is irelevant.
NOT MINE FYI

If no overheating occured over the summer, then your radiator is funtioning properly. Engines CANNOT cool themselves in the summer. Cracks/impellers/ hose routing/clogged heads/etc cannot induce self cooling.
Depending where you point the infrared gun, the color/finish/material/etc will effect the temp reading.
This realy sounds like a clogged heater core, and clogged supply hose/tubes. Make sure the heater core supply hoses go to the correct locations, and the water control valve is fully open...visual inspection.
Keep it simple.
How long have you owned this car?
Did it ever operate properly? If so when/what changed?
Pictures of the thermostats, coolant hose routing, heater hose routing would be helpful. I have seen many partialy clogged heater cores.
Usualy the only thing taking up the worn out bearing clearance is the thick sludgy oil. Just changing the oil on a pig like this causes them to get sloppy and throw a rod.
All the junk that gets down into the oil pan usualy will clog the pick up. I've seen this many times, but this is unusualy bad.
I'd start the funeral arrangements soon.....
I don't care who you are,..that ♥♥♥♥'s hot
I might consider a wheel change based on your pic. Info on tires, wheels and suspension mods, if needed, please. Thanks
