  1. Interesting, would definitely like to purchase a set flares that actually fit. I've had a set of MSA flares for about 6 months now and I haven't gotten the chance to mock them up yet, makes me pretty nervous. May just have to do some trimming to get the desired effect.
  2. There's a pretty big difference between "models" and successful models. That being said I don't mind looking at girls anyways
  3. That's the first thing that came to my mind. I'm a Texan, so I have no basement experience, but I imagine water submerged outlets would have been a baaaaaaaaaaaaad bad ordeal.
  4. Unfortunate. One day, maybe oneeeeeeee day, someone will come and make a new reasonably priced tubular manifold.
  5. Are you using a spacer to get closer to the flares or to keep from hitting the suspension?
  6. Yea I know what you mean, like I said I have to stretch out of necessity, the wheels I got were one of a kind and WAY to awesome to pass up for the price. 50 series is a pretty fat side wall though and I think it's a rather mild stretch, I wouldn't really expect it to debead like some of these other crazy guys who stretch 35 series on 18's and 19's. I really wanted to go with the 235's, but I that would have tallied out to nearly $800 for R-Compound tires that who knows long would have lasted and would've been interesting in the rain. I still plan on trying them one day when I have more money than sense, but I really just needed something reasonably priced and streetable at the moment.
  7. Because no one makes a 15 wider than 225 anymore that ISN'T a drag radial, besides R888's in 235. I'd kill if someone reproduce 235-275 street tires, oh well, involuntary stretch for me.
  8. Anyone? I should also mention this is in a '72.
  9. I'm overseas, so unfortunately I can't make the measurements myself. I could've sworn I've seen a thread here with the measurements but my searches came up empty. I'm looking to replace the speakers that are installed in those cubby holes and I need to the length, width and depth of the holes so I can buy the right speakers. Thanks guys.
  10. Bump, still looking for a quality intercooler, wether it be same sided or opposite ended tanks. No ebay junk please!
  11. Alot of picture uploading sites give you the option to resize before you upload. I'm chalking it up to some people just not being internet savvy and not knowing any better. But yes, it's quite annoying when you're trying to make out tiny details on a picture that's small because the site resizes it, but when you click it, it effin huge. Makes me just say screw and move on.
  12. Just wondering if any one has a same-sided intercooler like the one pictured they looking to get rid of or don't need. Would also consider the traditional styled opposite ended intercoolers. I'm still debating if I really want to use that much length of piping.
  13. Rounding up, it comes to $650 a piece. Hmmmm, someone dig some more info up on these, that's sounds too good to be true for that price. Bride sells a similar seat for $1800, but then again I think most their stuff is overpriced.
  14. That definitely went from bad to worse, I bet camera man wasn't very pleased.
  15. If you're worried about the turbo leaking oil, check your intercooler piping for any residue in there.
  16. I'm interested in taking a peek at 'em Burleigh if the OP doesn't contact you, trying to restore my red interior also.
  17. There's people selling new vinyl so that you can just recover the panels if that's something you might be interested in. There's also interior paint that'll work as well, which is what I'm going to try.
  18. Anybody want to ask that guy how many first borns it'll take to acquire that engine for myself?
  19. There's write ups on this site, as well as arizonazcar.com. Arizona Z Car For the tubes you'll need, Azcarbum on this site has been making some for Stance coilovers specifically. Stance themselves also make tubes, albeit more expensive, Serial Nine also does, and lastly, I've have of people using 4 of the front tubes that usually come with fully assembled coilovers.
  20. God you guys are making it hard for me to STILL decide if I want to upgrade my same side intercooler or ditch it go with the traditional opposite end intercooler.
  21. 280zcar, Thanks a ton for info, it never clicked in my head in my pictures the mechanical drive hookup was covered in paper. The trip reset is really no big deal to me, I just need the speedo to work properly in terms of lighting up and reading speed correctly. I'm sure I can figure out mounting and lighting, but actually reading speed was my biggest concern. Also you guessed right, I'm from Duncanville, just on the southern border of Dallas. However I'm in Korea until May so unfortunately for me I couldn't reference the speedo in question to the set up in my 240z. The pictures I had posted above were from the seller.
  22. Well that would definitely complicate things. I still haven't found much in making a 280z speedo work with a 240z. I may just have to print and paste a new face on my speedo since I need KPH.
