  1. Umm YEAH! We weren't that extreme Reminds me of jackie chan, very cool stuff but I agree with vintage, those guys are going to be hurting a few years down the road.
  2. Doesn't look like there is MUCH ELSE to do there! When we were younger we called it EXTREME WALKING, I don't remember if we picked that name up from TV or if we made it up. We had shoes with plasic inserts in the souls so you could grind stuff. Was ok, but I'd rather turn a wrench...
  3. All the sudden...I'm thirsty
  4. OK OK, I know I have said it before but this weekend through next week I will consolidate all my notes and produce a COMBO switch diagram for my brutha's. I will scan it in and post it in a new post, maybe it can be a sticky or whatever. I will get to it this week, sorry for procrastinating so long but sheesh, it's HOT outside...
  5. Back when I used to do models I would get bored building the kits as they were supposed to be so I would dismantle and make hybrids and stuff. Eventually I started to do some wrecks but nothing like this one. It is very difficult and I would suppose that he did it for the challange. Very cool though.
  6. This DS is for sale on the site... http://hybridz.org/nuke/modules.php?op=modload&name=zClassifieds&file=detail&cat=63&de=691 He stated that it is 22 3/4" center to center on the u- joints, 26" from diff flange to the end of the Yoke. I measured my car with T-5 installed and it is 23-5/8" from the face of the bare diff flange to the rear seal of my T-5. First Question is...Will the TH350 Yoke slip into the T-5 and will DS fit? If I need to get a new yoke for the DS to fit my T-5, then will DS length work? I don't know anything about tranny/driveshat/component exchange. I guess I need to know what my measurement would be center to center based upon my measurment from surface to surface. Make sence? Any help is appretiated!
  7. Yes, scotch brite scratches glass! Story associated, won't get in to it
  8. That's freaky! i actually remember that line! Funny
  9. That looks Great! Watch your arms on HOT days!
  10. Congrats MIKE, that is quite a feat but... It still needs a bumper! PS Sold them!
  11. From the OIL -n- Water Don't mix Post I couldn't agree more! Last weekend I rented this "IMPORT RACING" video for $1 at the local hollywood vid just to see some cool cars and maybe get an insight to whatever the hell the imports sceen is all about. This video was mostly a group of 4-6 guys in there early to mid 20's and their very big dollar cars. They all entered the cannonball in UK and sort of document the race. One guy had a GT2 w/550 hp and another had an M3 that they totally rebuild for this race only to have it held in customs. That part was funny So instead of the M3 they rent a Mondeo and thrash it eventually siezing the engine, I guess they got the insurance? Alot of the footage was cool like all the cars and being able to participate in a cannonball, but some of it was disturbing. The did things like buying two NICE jags just to have a mini demoition derby in them and the guy with the camera was screaming like a GIRL the whole time. And there was some other footage of them blazing throuugh mall parking lots in their H2 going over shrubs and stuff. I didn't really get it, and I would like to know where they get all their $$? I think it was Techademics or something like that. Maybe I am getting old but, sheesh, but I'm not even 30 yet! I remember being a teenager, and MY first car did not receive very much respect, but after awhile and spending all that jack it would seem that these guy's would grow up a bit?
  12. That is true but... This is also true unless you have a transmission with ALL straight cut gears. I know there are some out there but aren't mose helical cut? I know the diff is, so you are putting the power to the side of the gears not meant to take a load. Seems to me if you got on it hard that you would start snaping cogs or slipping across them...
  13. HB! You are a lucky young man!
  14. Uhhh, where's the part in the story that the young hot girl you were helping nursed you back to health!
  15. I am going to HAVE to start saving so I can buy my own lathe and mill, I want to cut chips so bad when i see this kind of stuff! Great work!
  16. Actually you should feel good about your experience! You posted your learnin and now we all know that not all z parts are equal! Like zguy said, we ALL do dumb stuff, thanks for sharing and hopefully no one will have this same problem.
  17. For whatever reason when we moved to our latest house about a year and a half ago I started to get a subscription to Corvette Quarterly. This quarter it was a special edition and was soley focused on the new C6! I haven't read through all of it but.....I want! I have wanted a C5 since they came out but the next gen is where it's at. The did a BUNCH of fine tuning to get the car to be 'that much better'. There is a sport package that they are calling 'the little Z06' since the 6's are about 5 inches shorter and an 1 skinnier! I think they are equiped std with bigger tires too, but I need to finish up the mag. All that and a bigger badder LS2 rated at 400/400 and a 6,500 RPM REDLINE!!! TOO COOL Anyway, it's BA!
  18. I would have to say the 2000, maybe it's because you NEVER see them but I fell in love after seeing Bond drive it 'you only live twice'. It even had a DVD touch screen it in way back... Oh... I love my z, it is more of a race car to me, the 2000 would be my touring car
  19. Mike, your car NEEDS a set of bumpers to go with those wheels, and wouldn't you know? I know were some are!
  20. Any of you guys got a recomendation for a GOOD PS2 Soccer game? We've been playing somthing or other 11 and it's ok but the control isn't that great and the graphics should be better...
