  1. Yeah but how would you know if they grind unless...they actually grind! Mine did, so I beat the end of the LCA in with a mallet (a little).
  2. What video? All I see is a lack of brains.
  3. Oh those tires crying under the weight of an Audi!
  4. I am just so glad that I pretty much finished my car before we had our child. At that point, everything changed. It's not a question anymore what my priorities are. You know what though? It makes me appreciate the car even more when I get some rare quality time with it. It's all about time sharing and knowing priorities. Because the Z was like therapy for me and since the child came, I don't get the therapy anymore, I started building RC planes. It's something I can do with the kid, in the house, with my wife near by. Then we all go out together to fly the planes. If the weather is nice, I can even negotiate some alone, Z time, for later. Figure about 20 diaper changes buys an hour of Z time.
  5. LT1-280z, I can't believe we practically live in the same town and I've never seen you around. I looked at your photo album and I am extremely impressed with your work. I didn't know what those photos were all about until now. Very crafty! Can't wait to meet up. I heard you might be coming to some of our future ZORB meets. -Dave
  6. My dad flew control line for us when we were 5 or 6 years old ( a looooong time ago). The plane was blue and yellow. I can't remember exactly but it was a superhero themed plane. It wasn't so super hero the day it hit the lamp post though!
  7. A friend of mine has a nice high mile E34 M5 that he is probably selling soon. Just an FYI. It's a beautiful motor. I can put you in touch if interested.
  8. Dont waste your money. Buy only the hoses you need generically. I bought one similar to this: http://www.autobarn.net/raspaksivaho.html For the really tiny vacuum lines for the HVAC and windshield fluid...use RC fuel line. Very Cheap.
  9. My dad has three of those...good thing it dosen't run in the family!
  10. Split the chassis down the centerline and add four inches to the width of the S30. Now THAT I would like to see!
  11. WAAAAAAY too fast for my thumbs! Def post vids and pics! My plane tops out at about 20mph and that gets ahead of me sometimes.
  12. I doubt those gussets add any significant structural value in this application...I would enquire though, just because they look cool. Nice article. Armand, do you thik that bar is strong enough to use for your harness? Curious.
  13. OMG put a condom on that thing and use a little Bacitracin lube!
  14. WoW! I went back out to the lake tonight and in nearly 40 years of living in this area, I have NEVER seen the Aurora here! I flew the plane around under the Aurora with the new wing lights on. I also happened to have my camera and tripod. What luck! Enjoy
  15. Took to the ice today! RAW FOOTAGE WITH MUSIC Better Quality:
  16. Reminds me of the time I was switching to high performance cams on my DOHC Alfa Romeo. I dropped a wave washer down the front of the motor and it fell into the oil pan somewhere. The Alfa oil pans are weird shaped, but aluminum. I tied a magnet to a strong string and fished around for about two hours down the front cover. I finally caught it on the magnet. Sometimes the right tool for the job is in the pile of crap waiting to be made.
  17. I enjoyed the ride very much thanks! It sounds awesome.
  18. I keep investing in my Z. What a bad financial decision that has been.
  19. Similarities between Z's and RC vehicles? 98% work in progress 2% in use Gotta love it.
  20. I just picked up a new toy! $150 used on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290198371022&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123 I can't wait to crash it
  21. Nah, all the mice are gone! I used the internet to research how to get rid of the mice, and it worked. I don't enjoy killing mice, I enjoy them NOT eating my car and crapping it all up though.
  22. The car is crying for a real engine. It also needs some ground effects. Especially running board skirts.
  23. I really like the look. The grill is a bit much but the rest is well done. http://www.gizmag.com/fisker-karma-luxury-plug-in-hybrid-sports-car/8660/
