  1. Does this mean you have the bracket design and are able to produce them?
  2. Afraid I can't help you with the spacing, but I have to ask; Where did you get your brackets?
  3. Mike, Why send overseas? I'm sure you could find an equally qualified shop in in the U.S., if not local to you in California. That said, I'm eager to see your results; do you have any pictures of the plastic bits you've had done already?
  4. There are plating shops that will chrome plastic and fiberglass parts (It's a little more involved, but doable), is there a reason you don't want to just use real chrome? ...I'd even trade my real bumpers for your FG ones if you were remotely close by.
  5. You might want to post the part numbers in type, in case the pictures ever disappear. That said, thanks for sharing, I may have to use this!
  6. Bump from the dead! This was one of the only posts mentioning Tegris, so I figured it was a good enough place to show off my latest acquisition! Fresh out if the wrapping, my new Tigris splitter: A little wide, nothing that can't be solved with a few cuts: Picked it up for $15 plus shipping, from racingmetal.com. I had to contact them via email, as they don't have them listed on their site.
  7. 280~Master, Could you possibly repost your pictures? It seems the links are dead now, and I'm considering using a similar setup on my Z. To clarify, this is on an S30 Z cars, not ZX' right?
  8. I believe he has a 76' 280Z, not a ZX. I'll bump his thread, perhaps we can get some more details and clarification that way. Edit: Sent him a PM as well, in case he misses the bump.
  9. I recall reading that a early 90' Ford Escort shroud holds the Taurus fan, and allows for clearance with an L series... Edit: FOUND IT! Anybody else try this? Still no pictures, but HERE is another reference.
  10. I know a few on here may be looking for the oil pan and/or intake manifold. Water pump if it's not corroded.
  11. Very clean Z! I like the subtle spoiler; it keeps everything tastefully understated.
  12. Looks like I'm going to be doing some digging! Pasquale, I'll look through my storage tonight, if you want to PM me your contact info I'll send some pictures when I find them. I'm hoping I didn't throw them out!
  13. Pretty sure I know what you mean. If David doesn't have a spare set to sell you I'll see if I can find mine. I'll have to check condition, they've been in storage for quite a while...
  14. The 77' had a regular 2 bolt housing right? If so, I've got one, I'll snap some pictures when I get home from work. If you want them on your email or phone just PM me your contact info. -Marcus
  15. Joel, Looks like they are still available HERE, not sure if anyone else sells them... You've had that in storage for some time, plan on ever using it?
  16. I have a new MSA Type 1 Air dam Non ducted Fiberglass for 1974-1978 S30 models: New in box, picked up with a parts lot that I bought locally. Never bolted up, just taken out to inspect and then it was immediately put back in packaging. Want to trade for EITHER: MSA Type 1 1970/1974 (Ducted or non) - Straight trade, assuming similar condition OR Kaminari 1970/1974 - Straight trade, or extra $$$ on my part depending on condition PM if interested or if you need more information, Thanks, -Marcus
  17. I MAY have seen one on my last junkyard outing... I'll try and get out there sometime in the next week or two to see if it's there. PM me with what you're looking to pay, and a phone number and I'll let you know when/if I find one.
  18. Glad to have you back Pete, hope all is well In regards to your health.
  19. Hmmm... I've been trying to find a way alleviate my worries about running my oil cooler boso' style. I'll have to look into this!
  20. I'm planning on using Megasquirt, but I'm trying to limit the systems that are dependent on it. I've already got the cooling system with a 2 stage fan speed relay and sensor that are completely isolated from MS. I know I'll still have to connect the EDIS module to MS, but the limp mode is something I'd very much like to retain. Call me paranoid, but I like redundancy and fallback systems; having MS control every aspect of the motor just doesn't sit well with me. Right now, if MS craps out on me (I doubt it will, but who knows) the car will idle, and keep itself cool. The trigger angle is something I'm just going to have to carefully measure out. I'll probably place the sensor first, determine the angle and machine the flywheel appropriately. The old adage 'measure twice, cut once' seems exceeding appropriate in this case!
