For the rear all you have to do is take the Front part of the Drum brake off and turn the hub and they should slide out, After you hammer them out of course.
We just bought my mom a 2003 ford focus zx3 with 70 some thousand miles with 130 HP stock 5 Speed. It cost about 3500 bucks. Its FWD but it is the 2.0 DOHC Zetec engine gets around 30 miles a gallon and beat a Old turbo talon off the line.
Well I'm guessing that you replaced your intake with a N42 so I'm guessing that the vacuum from the Auto tranny hooked up in about that spot on the Stock 80 280zx Intake. Also if your going to keep the Auto tranny you will need to have that hooked up to the intake. The line goes to the Vacuum Modulator on the side of the transmission, It will cause your transmission to have trouble shifting if that is not connected.

Just joking, never really watched auto-sports, I don't like watching any sports for that matter, I would rather go out and do it.
How about letting a member edit there thread indefinitely so they can add more stuff or take away stuff, Instead of them having to make a new one. Also I like the one post a month idea. Maybe if it is possible, in the for sale section of the forum let members edit the title and content of a thread and not allow posting so the people have to send a PM? that way it saves the section from clutter and when something is bought you can just "bump" or edit your thread by saying what is sold.
On a 240z with stock SU's with a mechanical pump the gas isn't pressurized like it would be in a EFI Z. The pressure keeps it from turning to vapor and also since EFI has an electrical pump closer to the gas tank it can still "push" gas through if it does happen to vaporize. Plus not everyone runs the return fuel line which causes the gas to heat up since it can not flow through back to the gas tank and cool off. On a hot day with a header you could get vapor lock.
Sort of cool how Nissan are (currently) the first to mass produce a Fully electric plug in Vehicle, called the Nissan Leaf. While (not bashing at all) Chevrolet is still to come out with the Chevy Volt which is only a Gas/Electric Hybrid.
Anyways check out the Leaf.

Maybe you should do a search about Vapor lock before you say he doesn't need it, and like jasper said if it is stock carbs and manifold, you should keep it.
There are a few Electric Z's as well, I also have been contemplating a little something with a Z and compressed air but it will be hush hush for a while.
Marty Mcfly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a Datsun 280zx?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
I say you make a sweet ragtop buy one of the VW ragtop conversions and put it in there , but if you don't want to I'm sure everyone else will guide you to put in a new roof.
This is my personal favorite, supposedly this is what this guy did for the exhaust "Monza header with a straight pipe going into the race Magnaflow 6" tube".
