  1. 1/2" between the block and the power steering should be alright. What isn't fitting with the headers?

  8. Yeah a Ford gauge works somewhat with a Datsun sender, but it's not perfect. Check Pete's writeup on it: http://home.comcast.net/~pparaska/gagecalibration.htm
  9. Ah man! I was waiting to see the trailer tip or something.
  10. I dimpled the passenger side slightly, mainly for the backup light switch to clear, and the bellhousing on that side. There are different ways for the hydraulics. You could go with this kit: http://www.weirhotrodproducts.com/ or use the stock, or T5 slave cylinder. With the JTR setup the shifter should come out the stock hole with no cutting. You can use the stock T56 shifter too. You can use a Wilwood 3/4" (7/8"?) master cylinder for the stock , and T5 slave, or use a 1" for the weir setup above. With the stock T56 bellhousing you will need a custom flywheel from Centerforce, made to meet the T56 to a pre '86 small block. You also need a clutch setup for this combo. Call Centerforce for part #s I would price the difference between the clutch/flywheel setup compared to the weir setup, it may be close.
  11. What do you need to know Keith?

    GM Rear End?

I put in a shortened 12 bolt Chevy rear, and it was a lot of work, and not so cheap. The good thing about it is I don't worry about breaking anything. With a slightly wormed over 350, with auto your R200 should hold up. Just don't try to use slicks, If you get great traction you will break ujoints, or half shafts.

  16. Brings back memories! The last time I saw my rear suspension on the floor like that, I threw it away to the JY, and installed this baby:
  17. Sunbelt should be able to help you.
  18. You could always weld a sheetmetal hat over the pipe ( /- , the small dash should be at the top ) to act as a heat shield.
  19. No, most people read all the forums, and the moderators handle all forums. I don't know if you know this, but if you go to the page that lists all the forums, at the top right is "View posts since last visit" Click on that and it shows all the last posts.
