  1. Not in a big rush. I don't have a good flare tool, but if I can't find adaptors I'll go that route.
  2. You is morbid You want a casket colored car.
  3. Yes the two bars are different. I don't know why the two bars you have are fitting http://www.geocities.com/madmanadam/Z-car/r200swap.html Did you scroll down to the second pic on the left, and down one? The two bars are different.
  4. This may be a stupid question, but did the r200 look the same/or different then your r180? If it looked the same, maybe you bought another r180? or maybe another r200 that someone already installed?
  5. Are you using an r180 mustash bar? If so you need to use the r200 mustash bar.
  6. Great story!! It's nice to know, besides us , that there are great people still out there!!
  7. No schedules yet, but keep visiting the site! I'll try to keep you posted.
  8. John, you missed our Hybrid Z event at Silver Dollar, in Reynolds. You should of came it's in our back yard! Keep checking in we may have another in the summer, and it would be great seeing your car in action!
  9. I would check your window tracks, where your window glides up and down. These tracks usally have a felt liner to keep things quiet. After 20 - 30 years the felt starts to crumble and may get clogged in the track, so when you raise your window the wheels get stuck. It could also be old hard grease sticking things up. You need to look inside and see why it is getting stuck. The regulator is probably fine.
  10. Found this cool product from NOS. They are called NOSzles, they clip onto your injectors to add NOS and more fuel for direct-port EFI systems. They are for 4,6 and 8 cylinders. Check it out! http://www.nosnitrous.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/NOS/NOSNS/NOSzle.html Here is an article on installation: http://www.hotrod.com/howto/69638/
  11. Hey Scottie, which linelock do you have? Also did you have to use metric/to standard adaptors.
  12. LOL, Damn that was funny!!
  13. I would change the radiator fluid, oil and filter, drain the old gas, put in new gas, change the gas filter. Change the plugs, rotor, cap. Check all hoses for cracking, change those. Take the old belts off, check your water pump by turning the pulley, replace cracked belts. Install new battery, check all linkages on the carb, make sure they move. Pour a little gas down the carb, and crank to see if it trys to start. It should start for a second ( using gas you just poured in) then die. This should indicate that it will start once the fuel pump brings up new gas from the tank and fills the bowls. Good luck!
  14. First off, welcome to HybridZ!! Try to use the "Search" button up top you may find your answer.I used it and found this older post: http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2828&highlight=buick
  15. The Zig ones are what I have on my angle plug Trick Flows. I did have steering shaft interferance with them, and added a U joint on the shaft.
  16. Can anything be done outside of California? Usually things that happen to California will trickle down to other states.
  17. Check your water pressure at an outside water spicket, if you have over 80psi water pressure your pressure regulator for the house is shot. When this happens high pressure from the city water line goes through the house, and your water heater. That extra pressure will push water past the bypass valve. This happened to my house, but it didn't drain the whole water heater?
  18. What Mike said, the CVR starter is excellent! It sounds like a semi starting up, plus the housing is adjustable.
  19. I didn't think you could build a small block this big! http://www.speedomotive.com/SB%20CHEVY%20481%20CUBIC%20INCH%20ALL%20FORGED%20CRANK%20KIT.htm
  20. In '69 the Ford Econoline came with either a sraight 6 or a 302 V8
  21. This is one of the problems why gas prices are so high. These SUVs take a lot more fuel to operate, which means more demand for gas, which makes the price higher!
