  1. My wife had a flat yesterday, she calls me on my cell and tells me that there is a wrench sticking out of the tire! A wrench!? I then think it must be a broken wrench and the short jagged side went in the tire. A Bell South man changed her tire and she came home. This is what I saw: Then I started to pull it out: And pulled: And this is what came out! It went in the tire round side first! How did that happen? Here's the hole: By the way, I now have a Craftsmen 10 mm wrench!

  8. I don't know.....you have the exact setup I have, Camero rad, Taurus fan, on high, 180 stat, I even have an AC condencer up front. I have no problems with cooling. You said you have your Taurus fan on all the time, right? I don't think that should make a difference, but maybe it's deflecting the flow of air at high speed?
  9. The lower hose is sucking in fluid from the rad to the block, it should be cooler. The upper hose is fluid from the block to the rad, it should be hot. Your radiator is acting like a blocked older rad. When calcium builds up inside an old rad, at highway speed it gets hotter.
  10. I've seen $1.52 for 93 octane here (Atlanta).
  11. For my port injection system, I'm using Alm 3/8" feed and return at about 50 psi with no problems.
  12. What Greimann said, a lot of people forget to re-install that bottom spring. It's very important.
  13. I have a shortened Chevy 12 bolt. Here is an old post that may help you: http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6870&highlight=jegs+s+s&sid=93ed2b29636550bddc069c4cab7103eb

  15. Chevy didn't make 327s in the early 80's. If there is a 5 speed behind it, it's probably a 305, with an auto tranny, it's a 350. I'm running a 327 w/ T56 6speed, and a shortened 12 bolt Chevy rear w/discs. Where in Georgia are you? You're welcome to come see mine to get ideas.
  16. You need to have a pic posted on the web somewhere. Right click your mouse, click on "properties". Highlite the address and press "Ctrl c" on your keyboard. press "Img" under ("post a reply", where you respond to a post) , press "Ctrl v" on your keyboard, and press "Img" again. Sounds complicated but it's not. Good luck.

  20. What about the fuel lines going from the tank to the carb? Did you blow those out? Could be crud in the line reducing flow.
