  1. There are many ways to 300hp, just research it and you will find the ways that work best for you.
  2. Yep, 4 bolts, one in each corner. They might be hard to reach, I usually have to lower the tail to get clearance in the tunnel.
  3. I've been driving a diesel for 2 years now, TonyD is right on with that information. You want high compression, and do not try to run higher RPM. You need time to burn that slow fuel.
  4. Yes. But key is "proper fuel management" and proper ignition advance.
  5. Lol! I thought they banned toy guns too...

  7. Why do you get such crappy mileage? My Z gets 27-28mpg on the highway, and I don't cruise slowly. Sorry to hear you wanting to sell the Z, I can't see ever getting rid of mine, then again it's a garage queen just waiting for track days...
  8. If you lurk for just a few days reading the posts on the turbo and L6 forums, you will see MOST PEOPLE WITH L28ETs are running 300-400 hp. Just look at signatures....
  9. Looks good. I hate the big bumpers, don't miss them a bit.
  10. Oh God that's ugly. Please kill it now.
  11. The answer to the question is only one factory turbo can be used to gain more HP. The Buick GN turbo, but it's only a small step up. You are better off getting a good turbo built and not trying to do it on the cheap.
  12. I smell exhaust with the windows down and I'm not accelerating, which is only about half the time.
  13. But the insert is larger diameter, and has more metal surrounding it. Does that not increase the strength of the fastener anchor?
  14. Don't consider it, DO IT!
  15. You hope you can sleeve the block. No way can rings be resized to fill a gap, that piston will get slapped silly in an oversized bore. Sorry to hear of the destruction Garrett. Fit a cold air intake, eh?
  16. The Z isn't the cheapest, but it ranks, and it's the best looking by far. I think a 5.0 Mustang with a big bottle of NAWZ is the cheapest straight-line go-fast machine.
  17. Good luck, sounds like things may turn your way.
  18. There isn't a place on the turbine to anchor a wrench? You do know you will have to balance the rotating assembly once you replace the wheel, right?
  19. Good God! I have a hard time believing he gets 60 psi boost out of a single stage turbo compressor. Dual stages would certainly be more efficient.
