I've run the same system without a muffler and although it sounds VERY nice, it is not streetable. (well, maybe to some ricers, but not me.) edit: oh yeah I have 10.3:1 static compression. I have been told that this tends to change the exhaust note.

Yeah, but I can't let that go. It took me several months to track one on ebay, after not being able to find one locally ANYWHERE. You may have better luck finding a shaft though.

I currently run hella h4s. I refuse to go back to the sealed beam. Oh and the Hellas fit perfectly where the old sealed beam goes.

somehow your MS is still getting 12v after you cut off the key. This could mean that your "main" relay is sticking, or your wiring is allowing the 12v to go to the realyboard. Maybe try replacing the relay?

the header coating is just something they put on there to protect it from rusting during shipping. The white will eventually flake off and you will have a rusty header.
